what kind of servo are you running with? you could need a novak or spektrum glitch buster

s6040 spektrum servo...i had to get the BEC because my servo couldnt function period until i got the spektrum BEC. If i got another BEC would it help? Is there any bigger BEC's i can use? It def helped the steering but like i said it is now effecting my full throttle at times.

Thanks guys for commenting back on this!

I always use the following and zero glitch problems:

Spektrum SR3100 DSM2 3 Channel Receiver: Surface
Futaba BLS451 Digital Brushless High Torque/Speed Servo

Of course you'll pay a little more but it gives you the peace of mind of having one less thing to worry about. Good Luck!!

I doubt it's the bEC causing your problem. It sounds like the low voltage cut off is kicking in. Just for an experiment try turning the LVC off on the esc and see if it still cuts out. If it doesn't your battery may be struggling under the load of this heavy truck. Or you may just have something set wrong or could also be an issue with the esc.

I have a 35c 5000 protek and a 5600 50c protek battery...the 35c does seem to do it more than the 5600 but like i said as i put time on the battery, it seems to not glitch as much

I wonder if the lipos are performing better under load once they are warm.
Maybe warm them up before plugging them in and see what happens.
What are the ambient temps where you are running?

Just turn off the lvc and test it. You'll know right away. It may not be the problem but it's a super simple test to do and then you'll know.

ITs under full throttle. Im sure thats a bec failure. The glitch buster may work but the external bec will be the right choice.

Anyone else think the diff standoff should be aluminum? Mine has developed some slop either from vibration or heat or both. I just dont like the idea of plastic so close to the power source. Lots of torque at the center diff.

+1 to the bec failure, what happens is that the heavy amp draw on takeoff lowers the voltage to the bec and then your will get a stutter. Castle, Muchmore and Novak all make quality bec circuits for around $10 and it is almost a must have with certain speedo's. You also lower the wear and tear on the speedo.

The external bec from castle is also adjustable through the castle card. Make sure its set right before you try it or you may have the same problem. I've also hear that the updated software has some issues, stick with the software that comes with the castle link.

Putting fresh diff oil in and shock oil. Saturday short course should be a blast tonight. I think I have the best setup that I've tested yet. Fingers crossed. Trying to keep the losi on top.

Listen I'm worried... I love the front and center diff's w/ the stock grease, I run a 3k AE fluid in the rear and it has been amazing. Is there any way to buy more of the same losi grease or what is the approx weight of diff oil that matches? 5k 7k, 10k? Any thoughts? I would really rather just stay w/ the grease.
