I was missing a shim in my rear diff, I replaced it with a motor shim from an old mod motor I had sitting around.

Are guys charging $50 or are they being bid up that high? I have not checked them out on ebay.

The rubbing is true but there are no spacers or anything like this on the 8ight or just about any other gear diff I can think of so not sure that is the reason?

Arms should be in stock soon, at least enough to fill the BO's on them. We also have another 2000 sets on order. Looks like about 2 weeks to get the diff pins for CS purposes.

And THANK YOU to Chris. He is awesome and has helped me out to find a solution for the masses. I have already thanked him personally but a public one is more than good here.

Supply and demand at it's finest. 11 bidders drove up the price.

Here are some pics of my truck. You can see where the screws tore through on the rear bumper and the stress at the top. This was caused from one end over end tumble.

I am thinking about just deleting the rear bumper. I know it protects the body but...

one seller has buy it now at 40 for front n rear but wont ship international. so i asked him, oh so your just into ripping off your own people? i guess thats the american way lol
no response

on a side note i met a guy yesterday that told me he sends all his tools and even exacto knife blades to this canadian company called cryo tech . it hardens metals to make them last alot longer. perhaps this would be a good solution for the diff pins from the factory. just an idea.

hey if guys are bidding them over $50, $40 is a good price!

Those bumper picks are interseting. Guys have been beating the snot out of these and not many failures. I have a hard time this was the result of a end over end tumble. Was there a sudden stop at the end?

Im not overly upset about it it was a good hit as I was getting used to the truck. On the triple at West Coast it nosed over hard and went end over end and bounced landing on arse end. Kind of like it hit hard on only the top part of the bumper vs a square hit. I am more curious to know if the bumper is really needed. I put a couple more teeth on and it flys better now oh and I love the truck =)

With the type of racing I have been in with a SC I like having bumpers! Those races can get pretty brutal. Other then that nothing says you have to have a bumper. Nothing in the back though and I don't see the body standing a chance on a tail end landing.

Casper . mine broke the same way , in the same spot after 3-4 packs on a small indoor track as did 4-5 of my fellow racres bumpers .
