I just ordered my RX8 and SC4x system. Do all the necessary length wires come with the motor and esc? Is the sensor cable that comes with the esc long enough to reach on the losi?

I see alot of people hacking the crap out of their trucks to save a little weight....am I the only one who likes that this truck weighs more to help on the large outdoor tracks on windy days??? My slash would blow around like a kite outdoors last summer..

Are the "optional" team Losi aluminum shock towers stronger than the factory towers? Will they hold up to the issues of the rear tower bending?

Yea, it's mostly the indoor/carpet/clay drivers that lighten this truck. I too have no intrest in lightening this truck. I too drive on large outdoor tracks. If i lightened this chassis, it wouldn't work out at all.
Kudo's to you indoor folks hacking away at this chassis.

Yes. Way stronger, I got rear ended by a hyper10 and it bent the crap out of my stock rear tower.
