Sorry to hear about your lack of planing, but if I were you I would just go
get 3 AE SC10 diff rebuild kits and put the pins in then go racing. I
wouldn't let my new truck sit when I can get diff pins that won't wear...

Hell yea tony's screw. I've been waiting for a Losi ten kit. I'm not at home so I can't confirm the sizes.

Now that's funny, lack of planning on my part or Losi to send the correct pins in the 1st place.
Closest Off Road track is 92 miles away. Will I drive 184 miles round trip to take the risk of bad pins and no spare parts. Uh no..
I have my SCRT10 until than.

The bumper center support just pulled the screws through the holes.
So a Slash coming off a triple kills your back bumper and you think this is a design flaw??

Plus, as I had already mentioned in an earlier post, we had parts air freighted in and will be here this week so June is not gonna happen. We should be shipping next week. This is minus the gears. We will not be releasing those as they come with the pins until we have a 100% correct pin.

I wasn't trying to be a smart azz at all (sorry) if you thought so.

All I meant was everyone I've ever known in 30+ years of R/C racing has
always bought two kits of any new model just to make sure they have
parts to cover for difective manufacturing on first run kits. (including me)..

AE SC10 pins won't fail, lots of people are running them...

I know what you mean about travel being scary with a new truck. I do
Vegas every week 330+ miles round trip and when I went the first time
with my new Kyosho SC-R I went with one truck to race & one new in the
box for parts. I would have never went with out the NIB kit for parts.

Good Luck & enjoy your new SCTE

Ebay won't keep you racing at the track on race day. Buying two trucks
and having one there for parts will"

Hey guys, I'm heading over to my LHS and wanted to confirm the screw size for the motor mount. Its a 5-40 x 1/2 or 5-40 x 5/8?

Here's the links I've found on Losi's website:

http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSA6240
http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSA6241

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I take that post as directed to my post"

I did not mean the diff pins weren't coming before June. The 3 local to me
hobby shops have checked on most all parts for the SCTE and all their
suppliers are showing back order till late May early June for all the rest of
the parts for the SCTE...

I know the diff pins will be here next week as I just talked to Losi &
Horizon this morning...

Question for hacker07
I work about 5 mins away from horizon/Losi. (falken tire) Is it possible to pick up orders from that warehouse?
