When I rebuilt my truck after getting it from the PO, one of the diff bearings felt fine free spining in the truck, until I pulled it apart and it crumbled in my hand. That rear bearing is going to see more stress on it compared to the front because its rigid mounted. The front has a little bit of flex with the plastic diff stand. The rear has no flex so its going to see more force.

I would imagine upgrading to the king heads front diff stand would help keep flex down. Plus you would have the bonus of double bearings on the front diff.

Thats my next planned maintence item is a set of avid bearings, would you suggest getting the revolutions all the way around? I was thinking of getting the metal sealed bearings for the steering and maybe getting ceramics for the diff cases.

I would get revolutions for steering as well as dirt gets in there too.

Well after looking at all the sexy pictures of the BCE hybrid chassis. I went ahead and ordered it, plus the 2.0 battery hold down. So I will pretty much have a 2.0, only thing left would be to upgrade the servo mount.

Cant wait to get the glory that is the BCE chassis. Does any one know of chassis film for the scte besides the TLR stuff.

Question for any one that has ordered from BCE. I ordered my chassis on the evening of the 20th from ebay. I have not gotten anything email wise from BCE just pay pal.

How long did it take for you to get chassis?

I did email BCE before ordering and I was informed of a 5 day wait, which I'm ok with. Just would have thought I would have gotten a email from BCE saying we got your payment, should ship soon.

never heard of any company that does that, or has the manpower it can waste on emailing everyone for every little thing.
they told you 5 days, it's only been 2. have some patience.

Lol , I do have patience. I'm just curious, I never got an actual invoice from bce just automated eBay email. Also avid, amain, and smc both gave me actual invoices from their company, not an automated intermediary.

Like I said, I was warned the same day I ordered that it would take 5 days. Did any one order through eBay?

Been running our BCE H1 chassis up here in Norcal and trucks are running great and worth the wait. 3 of us are running at Delta tonight.

I want to take a minute to sincerly apologize to bce, I just received a phone call personally to assure me my chassis was on the way. I'm impressed beyond belief, my intention was never to start anything or bad mouth bce. I had a simple question and its been answered far better than I could hope for. Again I apologize to bce and say I know have immense love for you.

you purchased through eBay?
that adds a whole other dynamic to the transaction.
so which of those other companies you mentioned have you purchased from them through eBay?
had you bought through bce's website I'd guess you would have received an actual invoice.

I've bought tons of things off eBay, and never received an invoice from the company. just the standard eBay generated ones. that's the system.

Sorry but its settled, bce contacted me directly and put any fear I had to rest. This will be the last message from me about anything related to me getting the chassis. However I will post pics of the glory once I get everything together.
