Never seen or had an issue in my personal experience with the posts on this truck. Seen quite a few beat to heck without issue.

I had that problem because of the body flex. I ob longed the holes used a plastic washer re-drilled the holes so the clip didnt hit the scoop and they fit better and with the flex in the long holes it quit tearing up the body as much. also using a long aluminum brace helps stop the long flex JMO Hope this helps

Is it me or does it seem like 5,7,3 with 7k in the center diff just works better than 5,5,3 setup even on Dry dirt on this truck ?

I gave 5k in the center a try while yes it makes it easier to drive i just cant get that forward drive out of the corners like 7k. Its just more torque and on power steering with 7k in the center diff.

Whats weird is i ran faster lap times with 5,7,3 than 5,5,3 .

I guess it depends on how much torque and KV you have on your motor.

I have broken a few body posts over the years but the mounts were improved a long time ago so it is not very common to my knowledge anymore.

As for diffs. Current dunford setup is 5-7-5. 7 in the center is no weird at all. With the old truck we used to run 5 in the center a lot of get that easy to drive feel. With the current truck we run 7 in the center lot as the new truck's chassis balance allow for more stability so we can run thicker center for more forward drive as you have noticed.

Best mod ever to stop breaking posts. This is one part that should have gotten some extra R&D into it.
Thanks for the hint !

Yea that makes sense im going back to 7 in the center diff again . It just seems like im faster with it than 5 in the center diff . I mean the 4600kv doesnt have a lot of torque so its not that hard to drive.

How about 2k in the rear diff ? Im figuring it would help with the dry dirt that northeast outdoor tracks have with grip .

Any one running a Tekin SC4X 4.5 with the stock speed control that comes in the RTR kit. If so what are you running for gearing on med to large dirt track.
Thank You Ron

Hi. What could it be? Running on the race and feel that the rear diffs is not running, only the front. Re-elected end diffs and saw that all is normal. Where is the problem?

Alternatively the pin may have broken or come out of the dogbone. Same effect.

Check by:
1) Remove shell
2) Switch everything on
3) Putting the rear wheels on the ground whilst the front is off the ground. Hold the truck still.
4) Gently apply throttle

Does the centre to rear shaft still spin? If so, it is likely to be somewhere on the rear to centre driveshaft.

14-15 should be the range for that motor.
