Hey guys, I put one together out of a broken truck and spare parts. I brought the truck to the track last night for the first time and I'm having huge set up issues. I'm running the stock chassis, as well as electronics in the stock location. It seems as if I got the front a little better, but still bottoms out way to easy and the back is sooo loose and bouncy. I'm running a nanotech 6800 mah 65c battery, reedy 550 sonic 4.5 t and an lrp sphere esc with fan. My current set up is;
Front is top outer shock hole, inner lower stck rtr springs 45wt shock oil. Silver sway bar

Rear is inner hole on shock tower, inner hole lower control arm, Losi red stripe spring, 45wt shock oil. Black swaybar.

Diffs 5,5,3

What do your guys suggest on indoor clay med bite?

Sounds like a to heavy on shock /to soft springs. Try some Silver colored black Springs on the Rear and the Front Blue or Black Front springs these are the raceing springs.

I just picked up the TLR Tuning Kit for my rtr 1.0. I see it comes with different inserts for the hing pin braces. What is a good starting point? Tried looking at set ups but not sure if that is listed on set up sheets or if I was not reading them right.
Thank for any help.

Hey Losi guy's I have just started running a SCTE 1.0 I won this part winter and put my Durango on the shelf. I started with the out of box setup which I found was just way to soft, I then rebuilt the diffs using the new 2.0 HD diff cases with 7-7-3 and the shocks with 30wt front and 30wt rear. I am also running the Losi race spring for the truck purple front and green rear (hardest springs front and rear) I am happy for the most part considering the lack of tuning options without going to TLR option parts but I am unable to do any of the jumps without having the truck flip itself back over front and it is driving me nuts!!!!!HELP please.

Shock oils are a little off. post some of you shock locations. set ups. ride height, camber, tow, tires. you have your car set up kind of stiff with them springs believe me when I say soft is better for traction.. Pack in springs helps with fliping rear end over the front. also driving style with trigger finger will send it nose diving along with gearing and motor set ups.. Post it and some one will help you with it all.

I have a kingheadz motor mount and have run into some trouble. My motor is stuck...

Luckily it is in the correct position for my gear mesh, but I need to change motors. Anyone know what might have happened? The motor should slide freely within the motor mount.

I've had to gently pry mine out a couple times. Just from all the dirt and crap packing in there. Close tolerance plus really fine powdery dust jams em up.

What motor? Be careful with the plastic "lip" under the motor. I have the HW xerun 4000 and had to cut the lip down.
