Value Hobby was nice enough to upgrade me from standard shipping to priority for my charger! I was shocked from that one!

Batteries came in and I am charging them up. They look pretty good!

My actual battery says the max charging it can handle is 11 amps. So does that mean i can push like 8-9 amps for charging on it and it wont thermo nuclear the neighborhood?

I dont know anything about "quick charge" or what is so quick about it in comparison to a proper balance charge.
Quick charge usually stops at the end balance game. You don't get that last little bit of charge on the batteries and it may not fully balance them but saves a few minutes on the tail end of the charge.

I should have my new charger by mid-week. Great timing because of the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. I have 4 days off so I want to get more track time in.

I have a spare scte 1.0 and now run the 2.0. I was wanting to convert it to a ten-t truggy, does anyone know what I would need to convert? Would it be just chassis, center driveshafts, and body? Does the front and rear clips just bolt right up?

RTR tires are probably Blue. They would not be silver. Racing tires are gold, Silver, Red, Pink and green. RTR tires are violet, blue and white.

Chassis, rear center CVD, body mounts and body are the miniumum.

You might also want to consider the wing/wing mount, Ten-T axles, hubs, and wheels/tires to have it look more like a truggy.

BCE makes an electric only chassis for the Ten-T/810. You can see it here on my car (using an RC-Monster motor mount):

Well I did a quick street run with the new Gforce 50c 6000mAh battery. Fit great in the tray and had no issues charging it. I had 1 strange thing happen. It is nothing bad. My truck felt like it had launch control. It could be my ESC using the 50c juice instead of the normal 60c out of my Reedy 5500mAh battery. I will have to compare batteries this weekend when the rain stops. With my Reedy battery, the truck will just take off like a bat out of hell. With the Gforce battery, it feels like a controlled launch. Like the truck takes .5-1 second to get a good roll and then just launches itself. Not really a bad thing but that was the big thing i noticed.

I still had torque and some topped out at max speed quickly like I normally do. If I let off the throttle and then max it out again, it will still take off like a rocket.

I am very suprised how much money you can dump in upgraded parts just for the SCTE. I made a shopping list on Amain and the list is just staggering! Right now, I am not looking to go hardcore crazy into upgrades because I am still working on my driving skills on a clay track. When you think about it, you can almost buy 2-3 more RC cars for the price of a bunch of upgrades!

I have HD diff upgrade stuff (to include lightened outdrives), new chassis, TLR tuning kit, MIP bypass stuff, MIP upgrade kit (just threw it in there as an idea), and who knows what else I placed in there. It is more of a checklist just in case I want to buy some of this stuff if I become more serious about racing.

Do some of you guys upgrade your SCTE because it is a fun thing to do? Do some of you guys do it primarily for your racing events? It is more of a curiosity question because people will drop some serious cash into an RC very easily. I know I have dropped at least $500-700 total into my RC hobby to include the SCTE and electronics!
