I have another question how do i get the gear out that is connceted to the outdrives? Just pull it off?

Yeah i use needle nose or if it really doesnt want to come off that pin i use a right angle pick or flat head screw driver to pull up on it a little, but be careful you dont scratch anything like the bearings or the blue seal.
Edit: I have a 1.0 roller with the TLR kit and stock chassis i will be posting for sale very soon. I figured id get the word out to you guys before i post it. PM me if your interested.

Thanks guys for the help i just finished my 1.0 build up from being stock for 6 months with no upgrades. Will be posting pictures soon

Hows the Gold coated Front and Rear shock shafts really ? I read the reviews on Amain and only heard one bad review on how fast the coating wears fast but the other ones said there smooth and fine.

From the research I have done, looks like folks are running between 13 and 16t pinion and stock size spur depending on the track layout, ie how much run up room to the jumps, tight corners etc. I am in about the same spot as you so I ordered 14, 15 and 16t pinions. In hind sight I probably should have saved myself a couple bucks and ordered the Novak 15 - 17t set. The fast guys on the straights seem to win at my track.

Has anybody else had issues with the front and rear gearbox screws stripping? Placed an order for new gearboxes and would like to know if there is a fix before I install them, thx.
