It should. there is a lip on the cap for attaching a shock boot. Are you sure you are not looking at that and saying it is not going all the way on?

No not that this

http://cdnimages.amainhobbies.com/im...s/losb2904.jpg

The plastic 0-Ring cartlage by the metal ball ends.

It goes on smoothy but its about a inch or so off the top if i tighten it anymore its going to swell the Shock o-rings .

Yeah the 4 lower shock caps in the middle of the picture. There is a small lip were the shock shaft boots go. We normally don't run them so they were not included with the 2.0 but you buy them.

When bearings go bad does the center wobble? Whats the best way to know a bearing is bad besides not spinning smoothly? I noticed the stock bearings have plastic/rubber retainers have any of you used bearings with metal retainers? Do they also go bad and have the wobble in the middle?

alright my 1.0 is getting some much needed tlc after 4 months of owning it and not replacing a single part...

so far I have these things for a list

hd outdrives all the way around
hd diff cases all around
racers edge aluminum servo horn
tlr flex tuned chassis
carbon towers
aluminum chassis braces
ape rc battery tray

am I forgetting anything important? I was debating wether or not to get the mip bypass pistons? and either getting another battery or a transponder?

The kingheadz dual bearing motor mount and center diff brace are nice additions as well as the hard anodized TLR shock bodies. Expensive, but smooth. The KH mounts will help your drives hold up as well. If no hinge pins are bent, you're good but you should buff 'em out with steel wool or replace with Ti Nitride pins.

If you notice any screws that are stripping, do not replace with the standard silver Losi screws... get something solid. Tony's screws are recommended but if you only need a few, then find something else that will work.

Good luck and have fun!

Im trying out the Arron lane setup and i looked at it and it said to use the lower hole on the rear tower which im already using . But the rear hub is in a diffrent hole in the (B) hole not the stock (A) is that what most guys use ?

I've notice the rod ends that are made now#losb4023 are shorter then the stock rod ends that came with the scte 1.0 but the stock and new rod ends are the same part number when moving the rod ends out to fit the B hole on the rear carriers like most of the team drivers set up sheets say.is there going to be enough theads to hold the rod ends on the link with out rod ends pulling off?

Oh i have the stock ones from last year yea it will be shorter if you ran it in the (A) hole . So you would need to make the turnbuckle ball ends longer to get to reach the (B) hole. Will the rod ends pull off im not sure i dont think you would have to make it that much longer.

Im just wondering if most people run the (A) stock or the (B) inside hole on the rear hub.

Ok. I'm building a SCTE 1.0 basher and have a few ?'s.

1.) Do I need anything special to mount 8ight shocks on this?
2.) Do Jato-rear Offset wheels/tires work on this?
3.) Am I better off with 1/8th scale electronics, or getting a good 1/10th system? I'd really like to run 4s.
4.) Does the Slash Baja Bug body fit the SCTE?

Thanks

Bent my stock hinge pins (front). Picked up the Titanium TiN coated hinge pins, How long does the coating last on them? I have the TiN coated Shock shafts, didn't too long.
