What oz weights do you guys use when you place them in the back of the chassis ? It looks like most guys use 4 of them but i dont know the oz of them though .

Because im noticeing since i cut off the mud flaps and some of the bumper and a Rear Carbon tower the rear end feels lighter than the front end for sure .

I dont have a weight gauge.

I guess I don't understand. I have the LOSB2959 and LOSB2963 spring sets. "Front (Rear) Racing Spring Set", each set has 4 springs. The rear set has green, silver, orange, and red. The front set has purple, blue, black, and green. Are these the correct springs that corrolate with the colors we are talking about?

Thanks Ryan.

I have a few nube question. I'm setting my truck per Dunford setup sheet but;

1. How do adjust/change the anti squat and how does it affect the truck?

2. What is the aluminum pivot support.

3. What is the part number for the 2 hole 55 pistons?

Most of the stick on weights you will see folks using are 1/4oz each piece.

1. anti squat is adjusted using the adjustable toe blocks in the tlr tuning kit and it can affect the truck many different ways it pretty much does what the name implies it helps so the truck doesnt squat under power it just puts a slight angle on the a arm.

2. the aluminum pivot support is the toe blocks that come with the tuning kit

I think 1 and 2 were pretty much answered.

As for 3 you need to make them.

Here are instructions but we are not drilling them. Start with a 22 #55 piston and just glue two holes shut.

Default which motor, esc, & LiPo combo + gearing for the new Ten-SCTE 2.0 kit?

I want to post my questions here as well, hoping to get answers from a different thread, knowing there will be lots of experience coming from this one.

I plan on getting the new Ten-SCTE 2.0 kit when it comes out this March 2013. What motor, esc, gearing, and LiPo batteries should I run?...

I was looking into the Castle MMP SCT 2400kv combo, as well as the Tenshock SC411 Hobbywing SCT Pro 120A combo.....Which of these two motor & esc combos should I get. If the Tenshock SC411 is better , then whick kv rating should I get for the Tenshock SC411? It comes in the 3500kv, 4000kv, 4600kv, and the 5200kv...

I was also looking to be running 3S LiPo, but, would 4S be better, or is 4S too much?

How should I gear the new Ten-SCTE 2.0 to keep the temperatures down? I will be running it in a short course RC track with tight turns, so I'm looking for fast acceleration instead of high top speeds because I don't need or want high top speeds....

All answers would be greatly appreciated.

Default MMP and SCTE

I have a mamba max pro and a Tacon 4000kv 550 brushless motor with a 18t pinion. I had this set up in my sc10 4x4 and just bought a Losi scte and intalled the same set up in it. Oh yeah and a 6600 60-100c 2s lipo, savoy 1258 and CC ext BEC. I can only get about 4-5 minutes out of it before the Esc stops and blinks red with the fan continuing to run. I still have my steering and after a min or so it's back and running then it does it again. The motor is only 130-140 degrees. And i still have 3.9v in each cell so i know its not the lipo cutoff. Does the MMP overheat and quit? Should I drop to a 14t pinion and go from there. I'm puzzled because this is the exact same set up I had in a different truck. Anyone???

So prob it's over heating the Esc which is causing it to quit and cool off. The truck deff had plenty of punch. Thanks.

Default SCTE MIP

Can I get some help...I have the MIP conversion for my SCTE. I bought it here. I just started racing it..I'm newer to racing and dot have the knowledge I would like. When I race and jump my truck bounces a lot when it lands. The guy I've bought it from said I have 50wt and 35 wt in the shocks. The MIP blue springs on front and black on back. How can I make the truck squat more when it lands? I don't know anything about shocks. Ride height? Spring color? Big bore shocks? Also my truck seems to roll a lot when turning fast..I have away bars but maybe it's my driving...and need to learn how to use the throttle better. Please help with the shocks....indoor clay track.
