I ordered all the parts.. My truck is basically brand new, I run indoor carpet so to upgrade for me is worth it. I already sold my mip kit for almost what I paid for it.. I have lots of money invested elsewhere in my truck aswell, ie:lunsford turnbuckles, tekno drive shafts, strc steering rack, carbon fiber top plate, aluminum hubs, (dont come with kit)...Ive sold all my stock parts when I installed the tuning kit. I dont want to let my truck go, but I do want the new 2.0 features. (chassis layout, diff casings, and I just want my truck to be a TLR truck), not mip.. So I have ordered the parts to do so.. as well as all new correct screws to mount the new hardware to chassis. If you run outdoors and your truck is pretty beat up Id suggest buying the new kit. Anyways man, heres the list I ordered it with part numbers and pricing. Cheers.

Ryan, is your setup sheet still up to date for the scte? I see the last time it was setup was in 2\11. Just wondering if you changed anything since then

any of you guys know whats the difference on Ryan Dunsfords setups? he has a "standard" and a WC\OCRC setup which is almost two years old. What does standard mean? I really want to follow he WC\OCRC since thats the track I race at but it looks very out dated.

His latest "std" setup for OCRC is basically what we run most everywhere. We may go up in diff oil for high bite tracks in the summer but the settings for everything else almost always stay the same. Only change we have made from that posting is we have started playing with 2 hole pistons. We take a 22 #55 piston and glue two holes shut. Then run 32.5wt up front and 30wt in the rear and it has been working really well for us lately.

Ok well i tried some things with the truck today on the Carpet . First to decrease the droop insend of using the droop screws or shock limiters i messed with the shock rods i made them shorter front and rear with about a tread showed Seemed to work a little better .
The sealed diffs i think it really helped inless it was because i used less diff oil , I also tried 5,5,3 diff setup i kind of like it better with 5k in the center little easier to drive not as punchy.
Last thing i did was lower the front ride height with the arms a little below level that was pretty noticeble. However i still notice my truck traction rolling going into the tighter corners not flipping over just the wheels off the ground a little .
Im thinking of ethier (reduceing the camber in the front and rear) or just running 0%. Or lighter shock oil/lighter springs in the front shocks and the Rear ? Also my Rear suspension arms are level and the Front and Rear shocks are mounted to the Outside holes on the arms.

I picked-up my new(to me) scte today. Barely used but also barely maintained. Tearing it down now to clean it and check everything. Only thing I am finding bad are the bearings and only a couple of the turnbuckle ends. Couple of questions. How much grease should I be putting on the front and rear diff drive gears? I am replacing the diff housings with the new HD housings. With these gear diffs should I be able to feel the gears rotating after a rebuild? Nothing to bad but I just want to make sure they are ok. What servo specs do I need? I have savox 1257, 1256, 1258 and a futaba s9452. Came with an rx8 and 2 sc4x 550 can motors, a 4.5 and 5.5. Are these still a viable option for the scte or am I gonna need a pro 4 540 motor? I will check out the setup sheets for the shocks/ spring combos I need. I am really impressed with this truck and I havnt even ran it yet LOL. Thanks for any help.

The 1258 should serve you fine.
That Tekin 4.5 is what I have been running. It is plenty fast so is the 4600. I found that on our track I really can't use all of the power yet. If I was going to do it all again I would go with a 4000 KV motor. JMHO
Glad that you like the truck.

One thing i recently tried was a 2.3mm 1/8 buggy front sway bar. This stiffer bar gives a smoother turn in and more steering on exit. It also kept the front of the truck from rolling as much. The bar needs to be trimmed shorter and the sway bar balls need to be openned up a little where the 1/8 bar enters it because the 1/8 bar is shaped different. I can post a how to if needed.

Anyone have a nice(straight) condition chassis they would part with??
Not looking to spend new money at this time..
Thanks

Attempted to melt the holes on the 55 pistons. I should have practiced more. Ended up melting the edges a bit. I'm assuming they are now available unusable since they are no longer perfectly round.
