The norm is to leave timing out on the 4 pole motors. It's not necessary once the truck is geared properly for your track & it normally adds to heat issues.

So someone mentioned that with the BCE chassis they are still using the stock chassis braces because the BCE is a stiffer chassis. Is that just for the rear or front and rear braces?

The newer hobbywing 4 pole motors DO get faster with boost without adding a lot of heat. The Tekin Pro4's basically just add heat without the "boosted" performance gain. It's something to try if you have both like I did...
I'm sure the new Tekin Pro4 HD will yield the same results when they're out.

Yes, not looking for the new one. Maybe a few months after it is released and see if the're are any bugs or upgrades needed I' ll consider it. Mine, like many others are basically 80% running on upgrades. New chassis layout? Cool! Mine is working right and winning races.
Or, if I see a 2.0 on my track and get to drive it and performs better I'll get one right away.
