Losi 1/10 TEN-SCTE ARR 4x4 Short Course Truck Thread

What's that on the bottom of the chassis? Bubble wrap?

Yea, sorry, but you would've been better keeping the entire surface flat without holes, and just mounting with 3M double-sided industrial tape.

No bubbles on the chassis, it's only optical deception in fact looks very nice

so what material did you use?

Not sure exactly what the plan is ..... but when that rips away from the front (and rear) bulk head screws your going to create alot of problems unless you catch it right away...

14t is perfect for any track
-small tracks use about 80-85% of throttle no timing, no boost
-med tracks use about 90% of throttle maybe a touch of boost if it feels right
-large tracks use 100% throttle and add some boost, this will give you wicked top and keep the grunt needed for short run ups on large jumps typically found on 1/8 scale tracks these days. Also very effecient.

Just curious, what ESC are you using?

6lbs 3 ounces race ready body and all. that light for an scte?

That is in a pretty happy range for the handling of this truck for most tracks. I have found between about 6.2-6.4 is pretty good everywhere, heavier will work on big tracks a little better and lighter in clay or astro tracks.
