For me I think I would just buy a fresh truck if I had a stock one with little to no upgrades instead of trying to piece it all together

Agreed. Besides, it's much easier starting with a kit and building it right the first time than having to take it all apart and put it back together. I believe the ARR Ten-SCTE still has grease in the diffs. The kit is definitely the way to go. It's definitely a good addition.

The front and rear clips are the same. The 2.0 just includes most of the hopups we racers already have on our 1.0.

The chassis is all new. To add the chassis features you need a new chassis so the 1.0 chassis will not accomodate the new battery mounting or diff relocation or the new front torque bar or new servo mount.

We are taking all 2.0 discussions over to the new thread but I will be checking in here if you guys have other questions! Can't wait to hit the track tonight!

Think the tekno will need less maintainence overall than a stock scte (my scte was all tekno parts anyways so nothing much different there).

For driving, the scte was fastest for me in a point and squirt kind of way. The tekno on the other hand I felt has more corner speed and is harder to be swatted away by errant drivers. The first qual with the tekno, in my winter series I did TQ, but I think that was because my closest competitor had motor issues otherwise it would be close. Still not convinced the tekno is a better truck overall.

Things I love about the tekno vs the losi are the screws all caps and metric so less tools to lug around.

SCTE, SC 4x4, and Tekno are all for weenies. Must get get SCTE 2.0

I just rebuilt my 1.0, HA pivot balls, new rod ends, new front/rear arms, rchox v2 2 stage pistons. My 1.0 already has the aluminum shock bodies, CF towers, updated Diffs, hardenend out drives front/rear/center, all of which were just added in the last month. So I think I will stick with my 1.0, and just get the new chassis. My 1.0 chassis is a little bent.

Im just sticking with my even though my is still pretty stock other than the Harded Outdrives center and Rear . So im just upgradeing my little by little and when something wares bends etc.

But the first thing is getting the new diffs with the ingrated inserts ! Second a new chassis and Carbon towers/bleeder caps for the front shocks. Looking at the Bump chassis with the TLR kit combo.
