Man I don't even want to look at mine.

Is Losi sending diff rebuild kits or just pins? I'm afraid mine are going to be trashed.

I run the 1512 1y and it runs amazing. For being a larger motor and running it on the lower end of it's capabilites it sure does run great. Not too much torque doesn't pull the front end up very easy. It has great top end was about to run a speed test to get exact numbers but my truck stopped going forward( diff pins?) I would guess it will go about 37 mph on a good 2s and around 43 mph on a good 3s. Which IMO is FAST. When I get my truck fixed will put down some exact numbers. Heat is no issue at all. The motor is a little warm to the touch defiantly not hot to the touch after a good 5000mah pack or two. I am pretty happy with this setup. I did grind the little motor stand thing a little and took a bolt out and it slid right it. Using a novak 20t pinion installed upside down to fit. Easy install. I ran it at a smaller indoor track( not my fave) and it ran great, a little fast but the truck can handle it. I hope to get more track time in asap.

since all the ten-t aluminum rear hubs are sold out, would these work??

also would it be a good idea to do the front spindles and carriers aluminum with these if they fit?

Sorry I a new losi driver. Are the diff pins inside the diff itself? I got my rear diff out and one of my screws to open it up was stripped is the under warranty?

Also what happens when the diffs pins go out? My truck stopped going forward is that what everyone's trucks are doing when they go bad?

Pins are inside the diff, with the spider(small) gears on them. Mine just turns into front-wheel-drive when the rear diff goes poo poo.

well first time ever driving a 4x4SC, and I love it... I know about the diff pins, and it's unfortunate that I didn't get the good ones. Ran stock grease in the diffs, ran 3 heats and an 8 min main no problem but they are wore down a tad. got second in the main(:

losi xcel 1700kv on 3s (had the esc and motor just laying in my truggy doing nothing so...)
