I think the 3800 would work but not ideal for this truck. And the 5800 you shouldn't even consider, the motor will over heat no matter how you gear it. And you want to go less teeth on the pinion to keep the temps lower.

I've never driven the Losi 2.0e.

Here is mine, it flies pretty good.

MMP system is pretty inexpensive. the Novak HV motors are not bad as well.

I have a converted tent scte to hold me over till the losi scte that I have already pre-order. ran it for the first time finished second tonight more stable than my jammin but pushes more. I race on a tight track. my conversion is box stock right now diffs are grease 7k center and grease in the rear. shocks feel real thick. I need this thing to steer more off power. can anyone help with setup for diffs and shocks? what will the new truck come with? I was gonna try 5-7-2 diffs but I am lost for shocks. first time out was good tho I was only 25 seconds off my pace with a non-setup truck so with a lil work this thing is gonna rock and it is so much more durable...

casper or hacker can you guys post a setup?

should I change springs, swaybars, shock pistons, etc? whats different on the new roller than the ten scte?

If you have the original 2 hole pistons from a TEN-T, then you need to drill them out to make them 4 hole. That single change will help dramitically. I would do all four about a 57 or 58 and start with 35 in front and 25 in the rear. Ours certainly do not push, these things steer excellent.

Why do you think the Castle Creations 3800kv is not ideal for this truck?

Curious myself because the RPMs will be low and have tons of torque on tap with the 3800kv 1410 ???

Top Speed Calc looks excellent ??

I've never found one of the online speed calculators to be accurate, the only way you will get accurate readings is by using GPS. Drop a 17T pinion on your Losi and go clock it in front of your house when you get it (you will see it off). If you want to run the Castle motor you are better off running the 2400kv on 3S which will give you way more tuning options. The 3800 is a kick ass motor and it will work in this truck, but IMO it's not the ideal setup.

And hooksjk asked me about the cheapest combo, not the best IMO or what I would run. While I would never run a Havoc 3S in any 4wd, I do know it will work and it's cheap so that is what I said use.

This is the main reason why I dont care much for this forum, most of the guys are so closed minded ?
But I have to agree that other motors such as a 550 BL mill "might" be better due to the weight of the SCTE.
I have one coming via mail as I write this and look forward to testing it.

No calc is perfect but I assure you this one is as close as one can get to it.
All the guys on RC-Monster swear by it and thats plenty good for me. IMO it's one of the highest levels of BL information and knowledge availible on any forums I've visited ?
The gentleman whom made this webpage is one of the mods at RCM.
