That body is the Andy's RC "Warrior 1" High-Flow Body Matthew Olson (MIP Matt) runs those bodies on his 2wd and 4wd trucks

Really nicely made bodies, super thick!! However, they just look kinda short in the rear, when they're out racing around the track, with other SCT's.. lol, either way, stupid awesome looking body!

You're welcome , just trying to save you some money/headaches .

I was lucky that all that happened to me was the battery case melted and the connector came out of the battery . I have seen one short out and start the battery on fire , not cool to watch your 500+ dollar truck burn down

thanks for tips peoples! held the soldering tip on the screw head for a little and then went at it with a cheap L wrench(didn't want to tear up my good tools). with enough force she broke loose twisting the wrench a little bit. i just can't believe the screw head held up... guess it's not as soft as butter.

I've had my scte for a few weeks now and I love this truck! It's the first short course truck I've ever owned and I'm very happy with it. I've only brought it to the track a few times but it's super fun to drive. The one thing I don't like is the horrible parachuting from the body but that's not a surprise considering I've been driving it on a 1/8th scale track with some big jumps. I don't want to get a new body just yet so I guess I'll just have to do some cutting on the current body. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience with my scte; I definitely want to start racing it soon.

That Loctite is Still "Intact" as you can still see it all over the threads. MORE heat would turn the loctite into essentially Dust. I wasn't kidding with the Torch Comment. That's essentially the only way i can adjust my Nitro Motor Mounts. After Multiple year's of loctite they are pretty seized in there which for Motor Bolts is actually a wise idea So there's No chance of them backing out/Changing mesh during a main.

I carry one of these in my Pit box for Emergencies.

Welcome to the club.

On the old bodies i cut out the fan circles on the rear deck, trim down the read fender/tailgate area and drill the vent holes in the windshield.

Hey guys I have a question about the current limiter on my rx8 that I'm running in my SCTE.... I drove it the other day with my Pro4 4600 and it blew through my battery pack so quick it was unbelievable. How do you guys have your current limiter and will it help my run times? My 2s is a 5300, also will the limiter effect the performance of the truck?

I should have posted this earlier seeing that I'm going to be at the track in 3 hrs and I want to finish my races.. Lol

I run mine at 70%, have more than enough power (I have to dial back EPA) and I can get 15min runtimes easily. I usually pull it off after 10-12 to be conservative.

From front to rear, 5,5,3 is pretty popular. A bunch of us locally are trying out 7,7,5. So, 7000, 5000, and 3000 weights oughta get you going and give you something to experiment with.

These are power hungry machines. Most run CL between 60-80. (I run mine at 80). With lower CL settings you might notice the bottom end soften up just a little but CL should not effect top speed unless you turn it WAY down and then it could effect over all performance but 60-80 range should not hurt much and help with runtime.

i might have to pick one of those up. i definitely can't complain about the loctite... it did its job quite nicely for ten months. a little less applied to the threads might have been just right.

Has anyone had a chance to test the new 22SCT wheel yet on the SCTE? Its the same offset to my knowledge.
