How many of you guys came from sc104x4?
Thinking about picking up one as I like 3 diffs, and with the upgrades the losi seems like a great truck.
I'm on a indoor tight clay track.

I am, gone from running mid feild, to winning, had 6 race's with the SCTE now, with no practice I got two seconds and a win, next meeting three wins.

You can't compare the two, after racing the Losi, IMO the SC10 is a P.O.S.

Will the Bead Lock rings for the rims that come with the 22sct work or the scte? Or are they a different size/Bolt pattern

I read a ways back that someone tried: MUGT0244 Mugen S5 O-Rings as replacements for the Losi stock differential o-rings. Mine caused massive leakage and I don't recommend them. They are more of a denser black rubber than a squishy clear silicone o-ring.

Does anyone else make a comparable silicone o-ring? It seems like the only way to get them is to buy LOSB3568 Losi Differential Seals w/Gasket & Hardware (Ten-T).

Also a ways back I was posting about my truck handling problems. While I'm sure new tires would not hurt, I was able to tame the twitchiness by taking the dual rate setting down on my radio to 90%. At 100% I just have too much steering. A Losi with too much steering... we might be nearing the end of the world.

The wheels themselves are interchangeable between the two trucks, however the bead lock rings are specific to the different wheel types. So the old rings only work on the old wheels and the new only on the new.

I run the Protek brand diff o-rings that are an upgrade for the Mugen part. I don't have the part number handy but they are easy to find with the Mugen parts on amain. I am running them in my SCTE and in my Mugen buggy. No leak issues at all.

That's my question - if your not changin the years themselves - especially the square blocks and spacers - why bother redesigning the case itself?

Just got my SCTE and am use to driving a 2WD. The front end seems so heavy when jumping. Is there something in my setup i can change or is this just how they jump? The MIP kit seems like to would really help this trait?

4wd will have lot more control in the air. If you have drag brake in your setup the front wheels stopping in the air will drive the front end down. The truck will jump a little nose down so you kind of just need to learn to jump a little more on throttle. Where in 2wd you would let off right away to get the nose down you need to stay on throttle a little longer with a 4wd to keep the nose up.

Don't bother with the Mip kit first. Tune your truck with the stocker first and then you can get a KH chassis or tlr. I use Chris's battery tray and that moves the weight a lot behind for just 30$ and its lighter than stock.

I have been launching and using more throttle to keep the front end up. Thinking about Chris's battery tray. Does it make that much difference?

This truck definitely has an issue with nose diving. I just recently switched to the MIP kit and it helps, but honestly I haven't run it on enough different layouts to say how much. It seems to have improved the handling everywhere else as well though. Specifically I like the responsiveness of it.
