Does anyone use the Muchmore Racing Fans on their SCTE? My SCT411 4600 seems to run 170-180 after a 7 minute main with zero timing and I'd like it to run a little cooler. I'd like to know how to mount it on the SCTE, I really like the looks of the FTW fan but $46 is crazy for a tiny piece of CF and a $5 fan....

I would go to loews or HD and grab a small but stiff piece of lexan and use a hard piece of paper and design your own template from the center diff and cut it out on the lexan and bingo....$46 bucks to spend on something else....lol

for those who have the Tenshock motor, how good is it in the SCTE? Thinking about buying one, just want to know how it is before hand.

Yea that's my plan, I just ordered 2 40mm 5V fans for $10 shipped and am gonna mount them using something homemade.

they work great! i have been running the SC411 4600kv in my SCTE for a while now and it has all the power i need. if your really want to run balls to wall, the 5200 is wicked.

one of our drivers runs that esc with a 5200 and the castle fan and his rig is FAST and stays below 165.

I have the 5200 and it's a beast. I'm not sure how I'll like it indoor, but on the outdoor track, it was easy to make up for mistakes by running a dragster down the straight away.

I'm running mine with an Integy heatsink with fan. Running 15t pinion, no timing, the motor came off at 150ish

Thanks, for the info. I was looking at the 4000. I'm currently running a LRP XL12 4.5t 550 can in mine and wanting to go to a 4pole instead. Figured if the Tenshock is as good as the Tekin 4pole, I'd save some cash and go with it.

I had the 4000 in my SCTE and it isn't enough, I just got the 4600 and it's much better!

if you're used to the 4.5, i'd go with the 4600 over the 4000. and yes, IMO the tenshock is not just "as good" it's better. it runs every bit as strong if not stronger and will do it with lower temps.

Dammit, you guys are convincing me I need the SC411 4600 now LOL. I'm happy with the 4000 but if the 4600 is that much better...

Will I see less noticeable runtime with the 4600 compared to the 4000? Using Gens Ace 2s 5000mah 40c and 50c batteries.

You can always take into account the motor/esc combination that's winning all of the races also... The Rx8 and Pro 4 4600 is dominating the Pro 4 SC classes at a lot of the races right now....
