I am also posting a picture of a trick I learned on this thread about adding hose to the front bumper. I tried the rpm and it hit the face of a few jumps, its great dont get me wrong.,.. I'm not complaining just sharing set ups and trying to save you money.. because I have installed the rubber hose and tied it in like it is I haven't broke a bumper in a yr. so you can say or I will that this works . fiber heavy duty /1/2 in, at any auto parts store. The hose with the metal in it is to stiff. tested that too lol.. I like to test things.. enjoy.. thanks.

I did this mod and it has helped. I found that I needed to use 5/8" heater hose from an automotive shop. When I tried 1/2", it was too small.

LOL! Well, I guess you can't 'search' in motion, eh??? You guys either have better eyes and I do (probably) or bigger phones (probably) 'cause I am not NEARLY patient enough to try to read RC Tech on an iPhone!

The best news is that yesterday my SCTE AGAIN proved that it's a better truck than I am driver! Love 'dat truck!

He is super fast...I actually built that truck for him so he could run it and shake it down at the JBRL, lol. And then he beat me with it.
Per the TLR blog:
He just needs a little more speed to get himself to the front and will be looking to make a shock change for the mains. We are going to try a two-hole piston instead of the standard four holes.

I would like to know what size holes he ran front/rear, and oil/spring combo.

I have 4 different complete 4x4 setups. I have a Losi / Bump SCTE, a MIP SCTE and 2 other brands.

I have been driving the MIP most recently and I like it, it really gets around the track and is planted to the ground. However, it does suffer off power turning.

Today, I grabbed my old faithful Bump Chassis/Tekno driveline SCTE and I was pleasantly reminded of how good it was. It does everything right.

I think the MIP will be equally as good with a better setup.

I do run out doors most of the time. When I race indoor I usually run one of the other trucks.
