the pro-line flotek is nice i also like the new losi body runs nice good strength where needed.... i did leave some of the flow channels closed i say open a few run it then decide if you need every flow channel opened...

TLR hi performance body is prety awesome as well. .040 material so it is nice and thick and handles great.

I'm looking for a good tire balancer for the SCTE. What are you guys using?

LOSI's balancer is nice but is very expensive with the 1/10th SCT adapter.

The losi setup works really well though.

You can make a cheap one your self like the old school 8th scale ones.

Use a rear hub assy without the drive shaft and clean out the bearings really good. You then attach the tire and hold onto the hub and let the tire balance to that assy. Pretty crude but gets the job done.

Kind of like this but take off the drive shaft.

Also if you do get the SC balance I was able to balance all my 2wd losi wheels with that. I can do all my 2wd SC, 4wd SC, ST and buggy wheels!!!!!!!

Since spur gears were just brought up, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a different spur for this truck? Has anyone found one? is there a different one? Only one I've been able to find that might work is the 48t for the Ten T e. Anyone tried that one?

I believe that the 48 tooth is .8 mod or 32 pitch. It wouldn't work with our mod 1 gears.

Losi 2.0 spur works, take a AA battery wrap ut with sandpaper to enlarge the center hole by a mm or so, i used a 43 works good almost cant go larger as it will rub the battery.
The ten t spur has a spline on one side i believe , its deep in my spare box lol

I understand Tessmann has been running the TEN-SCTE in lieu of/lack of a Hot Bodies SCT.

Anyone have any insight on his setup or any other mods? Wondering if he's doing stuff outside the conventional wisdom. I've looked at some of the stuff he does on the 1/8 scale rigs and with their fabrication skills I have to assume they've done some work of their own on the Losi.

I don't assume any setup sheets would be uploaded anywhere.. but maybe body off pics?
