Great, now I'm experiencing the diff pin issue. I definitely see some wear. I left 3 messages with Losi today, 2 with Bill and 1 with Doreen (sp?). Anyhow, I haven't received a call back and I have registered my truck on Losi's website.

I'm going to try and call one last time.

I see what you mean and I have both the TEN-SCTE and Losi 8E and the weight difference I believe is huge in my instance since I run 2S on my TEN-SCTE and 4S in my Losi 8E. So I don't understand the comparison in weight. I guess you are basing that on the need for Losi 8 shocks on the SCTE. I'm no pro or expert, but for stock shocks, the TEN-SCTE shocks are pretty good IMHO.

I think your best best is to register with Horizon Hobbies and call their 1-877-504-0233 number and wait to be prompted to use their call back system. I called this morning at 10:30am and I got a call back at 1:45pm. I'm in the system now and I'll be receiving my pins in about 1-2 weeks.

He told me to disregard the website update that states June.

I never said you need them, in most my post I mention the stock shocks are fine. You guys use what ever you want, I like the 8ight shocks. If I wanted a light truck I would have bought a Durango lol.

This is Jason Smith by the way
I did not send you the one like Saladfork.

When I got my towers from SNR the production truck was not out yet, we had no way of knowing where the body mounts would sit. Brian L. was nice enough to send Steve his towers from his Ten T so he could custom make the towers we used. They are beefy! I used all SNR parts on my Jammin, he does nice stuff.

SNR now sells the updated towers so you can use the stock SCTe body mounts.

If you plan on using the 8ight shocks have the stand off mounting holes drilled to fit the 8ight stand offs (4mm). Ask Steve when you order, he will drill them.

Default When to purchase

Well I ordered 2 SCTE's then canceled due to all of the issues outlined in the last 250 pages, which sucked to hear as the Slash's we have are just one step away from garbage day.

So when will the next production run occur with all of the fixes for the Diff's, A-arms and bumpers.

Yes agreed stock shocks are some of the best stockers I have seen out for sure, but I had these I just bought them a montha ago for my crash 4x4 and Figured hey what the heck, I only would like a little more travel in the front other than that awesome shocks. Just weighed my truck with MMP/castle 2650, 3s 5000mah battery, servo, d8 shocks, and transponder, body shell also, brings the grand total up to 7 pounds and 2.7 ounces. Here's a few pics sorry if they are too large.
