It doesn't matter , but the top of the shock takes lets hits from dirt and debris so the paint marker is less likely to rub off if you put it at the top .

Remember when you guys said "you get what you paid for"? Well the hudy hex drivers live up to that name. Really expensive but probably the best quality out there. I've also heard the dynamite, mip thorp, ans duratrax hex drivers are good as well. The hudy drivers with the ball ends are fantastic.

+1 All the sizes you need plus you can use a small electric driver or the handle . I have been using mine for at least two years !

I have a slightly different take:

If you're spending most of your time at the 1-85% throttle range, then reducing the EPA on your throttle to say 90% removes that top 10% from the range and applies it back to the range you're actually using (and note that does not mean 10% of your top end is taken off). So you simply extend the throw of your 1-90% range.

What you're doing is not making your car slow down necessarily. In effect, you're making the throw of your trigger longer thus smoothing out the acceleration and braking of your car, making it smoother, thus run faster.

So you aren't going faster by slowing down, you're going faster by being smoother.

Our fingers and throw are at a finite quantity. Adding 10% articulation is a significant amount.
Not on my radio,EPA is an exact point not a percentage.Think of it as a water faucet, open all the way is full water, set a stop before full open and less water will come out. What You are talking about sounds more like ARC, Adjustable rate control.I can feel and see a significant loss of top speed when decreasing EPA.I run a M11X!Cheers!

You've got way more patience then me using allen drivers. My friend uses a set of allen wrenches to work on his truck and i just sit there like WOW!, how can you just sit there using those terribly slow tools. I offer to let him use my hudy hex drivers but he just says "no i'm good". Bet if i left the room he'd be using them within seconds. Allen drivers without ball heads are pretty much useless. Trying to convince my friend to save up for some quality hex driver wrenches. On a completely different note, losi released the much anticipated 22SCT. Saw it on bigsquidrc.com's front page.

Default Lowered LCG, changed weight distro

I've been tinkering with my SCTE and I was kinda inspired by the MIP stuff, so I figured I'd try balancing my truck up a little differently. The way I made the mount lets me move it back to the stock position (when moved all the way back in the tray), or where it's at now. Electronics sit real low, essentially bottom of the battery sits right on the lip of the side of the chassis and ESC is on the chassis.

It's 5lb10oz w/o body.

Runs real good - I'm liking the new weight distro. Hopefully this inspires posting some custom jobs (or someone to go out and put a dremel, drill, and CF to work )
