The Ten series was based off the 8ight series that used the 5-40 hardware. It would cost way too much to switch this car over. All the Ten series will stick with this hardware but I would be suprised to see any new platforms from here on out not be metric. Anything based off the Eight/Ten platforms will be the last holdups in the TLR line with std hardware is my thought.

Please dont ask me which tool is better. we dont need a BCE or a TLR and Kings head debate on tools. LOL Just kidding... sometimes I cant get over my self. so I roll over.. in that note I have a question for all of you Losi 10 drivers out here in rctech land.. For a year I have been testing a grease for the diffs.. would any of you be interested,, if I packaged it up and sold some .. taking a poll to see if its worth it .. A little information.. it protects and lubes. it has a continence of 25,000 weight. so If you have leakage problems and dog bone ends that are wearing this would be a good product for all.. its good in the shocks to keep them sealed and slick as a . its good on the ends of the drives shafts. protects and stops wear. the tubes will have enough grease to do 6 or more diffs and have some left over for shocks and other things that need good lube,,, so we don't fill this thread with talk about grease Please PM me and tell me what you think.. Thanks.. Chuck

5/64 and 2mm are the same so only need one of those.

I have thse in my tool box at all times.

.050, 1.5mm, 1/16, 2mm(5/64), 3/32, 2.5mm

This will cover the needs for any Losi/TLR car (except 5T).

It doesn't matter , but the top of the shock takes lets hits from dirt and debris so the paint marker is less likely to rub off if you put it at the top .
