What is a good starting point for the scte shock piston/oil?

I run on a large smooth high bite clay tracks, OCRC and WCRC.

Also, I only have the stock pistons in-hand.. hopefully they're OK, lost the extra pistons that came with the car.

For your 8 scale? We currently don't have a kit for them quite yet we are good to go though on the SCTE shocks though lol

what would be a good pinion to run with a 4500kv motor on 2s on a medium size track. I had a 14t on my jammin so im thinking a 14t should be good on the scte?

when i ran the copperhead on a similar sized track i ran with either a 15 or 16T pinion. 14 should be a very safe starting point.

5-5-3 is already very good all around, 7-5-3 may a bit better on large corner when on power

Agreed. I run the stock connectors, or ones just like it from HK. I switched to the 'better' connectors that many use in favor of the birdcages only to have that connector de-solder and melt down the very next race.

I have yet to have any issues with the birdcage style.

I just got a couple GensAce packs and they came with the nice solid bullets on them and NOT the birdcage style plugs . I think they are better than the Castle bullets as they are about 1/4 inch longer .

So I screwed up and thought they were for the 8ight shocks but were for the scte shocks which I don't have so I'll be selling the bypass kit if anyone wants it, lol

I got those plugs with the 50c 5000mah pack. Plugs fits firm but not tight.
