Thank you. Bad design in my opinion. Might have to break out the super glue

That is really weird i run my scte with a 277 oz. In. Servo and never had any problems other than no reverse and a weird cutoff issue. Guess when i get a truggy i'll switch the 150 amp to it and get an sct pro for my scte.

Well guys, I continue to have issues ever since putting this sc411 5200 in my truck, and I can't quite figure it out.

So today's racing, first qualifier it just quit, sensor signal complaining again. Second qualifier and everything was cool. In the A-Main, it started lunging when I wasn't even hitting the gas and randomly losing my steering, any ideas? Maybe my Glitchbuster is failing? Also, the ESC fan is failing, now I have a fan wired off of the receiver, is it maybe time I think about calling Orion?

Would this Novak Havoc Pro SC/Ballistic 550 System 4.5T w/X-Drive work in the losi and keep up with others or go faster without overheating?

Well, since we're on the topic of motors and ESC's, I burned up a Brushless Hobbies 120a ESC after 2 packs, running the Tenshock SC411 4000kv on 40c 2s batteries. While I have the option of getting another BH ESC, I am a little apprehensive about getting another in fear of the same thing happening again. As far as I'm concerned, my only options are a Castle MMP or sell all the Chinese stuff and go with a Viper Copperhead 4500kv 550. Any other options I'm missing? What is recommended if I decide to keep the Tenshock motor? I like the Tenshock motor, it's fast and sensored, which I like but I hear the Viper systems are nearly as smooth as sensored.

I would keep the tenshock and get a hobbywing sct pro esc. From what i've heard on here they're pretty good.

I got mine from Funshobby (http://www.funshobby.com/) and they are great on customer service (bought my SC411 4000kv from them a couple of months ago). For me in Australia, it is a lot faster shipping since they are in Asia. You might be better off with an American distributor.

It's strange reading that, because I am/was getting similar problems (glitching, no ESC fan, sometimes no signal) but with my MMP and the SC411 4000KV, but after 3 months of use. I can't blame anything in particular at the moment as I did quite a few mistakes - ESC came loose and bounced around , connect ESC with reverse polarity .

Once the new ESC + motor combo arrive I will be replacing things one component at a time to try and isolate where the problem is...

I can say without a doubt the Copperhead's are extremely smooth.
If you do keep the tenshock, I also agree that the sct pro is the way to go. They are very good

I don't know why it went bad but others have had the same problem. I read a bunch on the URC and RCShortcourse threads and found out I wasn't the only one.

Yea - I'm a fan of the SCT Pro. I replaced my 80A HW with that in my 1/8 buggy. I also really like that you can just unplug the fan, and plug in your programmer to the fan port. No more fumbling around with the receiver cover.

SCT Pro also gives you some more programming options (XERun vs. EZRun).
