this might have happened to you and I just found the fix. at the races you case the feature which is meant for 1/8th scale nitro buggies and your drive shaft pops out of the center diff, dead in the water. USE the shims from the diff and a rubber washer from diff, behind the drive shaft. the washer keeps the bearing in the rear end, the rubber is the spacer and it moves the drive shaft in towards the center diff almost a 1/4 inch helping it stay in, in bad landings. JMO try it you'll like it.

I remove the tires and I also take the springs off the shocks. Then I push the shafts all the way in. I find when the cars sits with the springs on for a few weeks that air tends to find its way in the shocks.

Won't that make it much more likely to bend the center shafts? I have bent several, but never had one pop out.

in measuring the dog bone to the tabs sticking in the hardened shafts it centers it so it has movement. just a 1/4 in closer so it wont pop out. it wont work for the front end due to the angle of the shaft. as it is it almost hits in rotation now. but you could be right if your chassis flexes so much it could compress and bend. so lets not hope that happens

so been out of the RC scene for a while BL motors and lipo weren't out yet. Have decided on Tekin RX8 speedo. will be on a med to large 1/8 track which is better, pro 4 4600/4000 or sc 4.5/5.5 550 motors.

Go for the new hobbywing 540 4 pole 4700 it rocks. More power then the 4600 pro-4 and cheeper to boot.

Anyone know who might have a King Headz chassis in stock? I destroyed my stocker today and we have a big race coming up next weekend. Amain and King Headz themselves are completely out.

Default Losi Hi-Performance Body TLR8060

Can't wait till I get mine. Ordered 4/17 from Horizon and still shows backordered. Hopefully they ship soon because it looks awesome! Plus, like others here, my current body is adding an extra pound from the big tube of Shoe Goo that is still holding it together!

If it doesn't make it through a practice day at the track tomorrow, l already have a brand new tube and lot's of drywall tape ready to go! May have to run a bigger motor to carry this shell around! LOL
