Most of us running this truck are running a 16T pinion, some are running a 15T. As far as whats needed for this truck and heat...we ran this at the HRH shootout where it was well into the 100's and it did great.

Default Protrak wheels?

I read the description on the Proline website for the Protrak wheels and they state "10 mm negative offset." I thought I heard Casper say the scte wheels are 0 degree offset. Casper, could you help me clear this up before I order the Protraks.
Thanks. Brian

I remember reading that too. Measured from the back of the wheel to the face that the hub sits in it is the same as my DE racing 0 offset wheels(32mm). I use the 17mm hubs.

I saw this asked once but couldnt find the answer. How much were the pivot plates narrowed?

What we are saying when we refer to these wheels being zero offset is that that we have placed the face of the tire pretty much at roar legal width. So, I apologize if the description we gave was not appropriate. The protrack wheels will work in a pinch but they rub at full lock in the front. We have PLENTY of wheels on order so I would just wait and get the real Losi wheels for the truck and then you wont have to worry about a thing as far as offsets or anything.

As far as how much we narrowed them, enough to make the truck roar legal.

My DE wheels did the same thing. I just knocked a little off the wheels were it was hitting.

Was the second part about the pivot pin mounts? Are these dimensions attainable with the new adjustable hop-ups?

Thanks Ryan, glad to hear the wheels will be on the shelf when the truck hits the shelf. I always prefer to use OEM parts whenever possible.
March is going to be an expensive month for me with me buying a SCTE and a 22.
I can hardly wait.

Default 2s or 3s

currently have a novak havoc pro sc esc and hv 4.5 motor on 2s. was gonna get a different esc that can handle 3s but just realized my motor will only handle 2s so i am rethinking my options.

considering staying with the same motor/esc. you guys think it will push the scte around ok? i can always increase timing

Kain,

The adjustable pivot supports are already at the new width. So, yes, sure is.

Will DE Racing 17MM hub wheels with 17MM bubs and axles from the 810 be within ROAR legal width and not rub on the A-Arms?

It would be really nice to be able to only have one wheel for both 2WD and 4WD SCT (so tires can be interchanged) and the DE Racing wheel seems like the only way to do that.
