I drive LOSI because I have been since My JR-T Days.If I can buy a machined part here(USA) is how I posted it !!I am not worried about anything!By far the best 4x4 SCT on the market.Like everyone else here I( believe) the one I picked is the best..It is all opinion!!Thats it!If it rubs you the wrong way, ignore it! I love the chassis debate cuz I thrive on controversy!!!!
I drove the TLR chassis for a long time It worked very well,I bought it used!!!My lap times went down with B*E
Well lets get back to bumper and battery talk!!!!!I know the KH is the new flavor and it has some interesting design change that people like!I get it!My chosen career path has suffered tremendously from foriegn machine shops, that was the point I was making!! Bro!!!

I guess my post was not totally clear as it was very late at night when I posted, I was not just talking scte chassis...I meant overall chassis from BCE are top notch. Lots of the pros "non losi drivers" choose his chassis.....for good reason. And have championships with them

Get the hobbywing c-xerun 80 or 150 amp or a mamba max pro. Both great esc's. Ran my hobbywing 150 amp in my scte today and it works great. Both offer a ton of programming options. Btw ran my truck without the front sway bars today and it made a huge improvement in my steering.

Just stopping by to say hello. I just ordered my SCTE today and will be getting it Monday. Planning to run a Brushless Hobbies 120a ESC and a 4600kv Tenshock SC411 motor. I've heard it rivals the RX8 and just had to have it My bro has an SCTE and I can't wait to get mine! I was tired of breaking parts on my SC10

Default When to rebuild your Differentials

Hi All,

Have had my scte for a little over a month now, and rebuilt the diffs. What are the signs on when you need to rebuild again? today i noticed a strange noise coming from truck, initally i thought it was my pinion gear meshing to tight but not the case.

Thanks

Ken

Ive had my losi since december and there will be a little grinding noise. All my diff gears are fine and my pinion has the correct mesh. Nothing to be worried about. Just how some of the trucks sound. Doesn't effect performance at all.

Any limiter used on the ESC or just keeping at max? Timing?
i'd start with a 16T. i run my CL at 85% and timing at 10 (which i think is like 4 degrees on the RX8).

What motor are you using and kv rating with the HW?

Should i go with a 4000kv or 4600kv if i get any of the above..pry be the MMP or HW 150a if im gonna do it?

Whats the diff between the xerun 150 and the exrun pro 150 amp or why would one be than the other with the tenshock motor? Thanks

i would stay away from the 150A XERun if you're going to be using 2S. the hobbywing SCT-PRO is a better choice for 2S.

awesome....with this esc and heavy truck 4000kv or 4600kv in the sc411 motor? i know your the tenshock guy so thats why im asking you, lol! Or i guess what kv do you suggest as im not good with all the technicality stuff of motor esc but i can break the car down and work on it, rebuild whatever but this stuff is kinda confusing and i'd rather ask someone WHO KNOWS rather than someone who MIGHT now
