I know the tire choice is good because that is what the other fast guys are running.

try making small adjustments to the oils like 753 or 532. or 533 I like grease best and it helps with temps keeping them lower. also.. lower you shock oil by 10 in each. Thanks helps with traction.. write all you changes down... ONLY do 1 change at a time test see how it works for YOUR driving skill

You must set your end points at least 10% lower the the buzzing in all .

turning, break and throttle. if it binds any thing it will glitch. the cap stores energy and helps the speed control hold voltage and amps to the receiver. when you bind it draws more power and shuts off other parts of the receiver. either change radios or set you end points also battery might be issue if to small of C ratings. what battery you using Hope this helps

tried a new sensor cable, still no luck with this hobbywing sct pro esc, might have to give the spare mmp i have a try, will need to order a castle bec first.

Forgot to mention when both flashing lights happen on the esc it knocks it out of sensor mode and into sensorless mode. This only happens when i hit full throttle.

electronics i'm using, Hobbywing sct pro, Savox SC-1258TG, Tekin Pro 4 4600kv, lipo is a zippy 2s 35c 6000mhz.

if your running a censored motor run it in smart sense, and do the motor torque test, should help, I did this and all glitching went away, running mmp/4600 pro-4/jr9100s servo/spectrum dsm2 reciever.

no caps or external B.E.C.'s here, runs real nice

What Reciever are you running? Do you have a power cap on the Reciever?

I have the hobbywing sct pro esc, I keep getting a green and red flashing light while I run around the track, it runs normal and once i complete a lap it flashes. the book says its a Over current protection, motor demagnetization, or motor is over load. I have set the timing to 0 on the esc.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? could it be a sensor problem?

Also since changing the timing to 0 the esc seems to be getting hotter and the motor gets really hot like burn your hand in less than a second hot.
I've never seen that but don't have a SCT-Pro ESC (though one is in the mail!). I do have 3 v2.1 ESCs and a 80A 1/8 scale and have not seen this, so these suggestions are shooting from the hip.

It might be worth checking all of your connections. It might be worth to trying some new wire (would ensure good wire and good solder connections), and if not directly connected - try that/remove any bullet connector while you rewire. Make sure you don't have solder partially connecting two terminals together. I see you've replaced your sensor wire, but make sure your replacement wire is good as well (unlikely, but I have seen it.. ONCE). See if you can borrow a motor to run as those potential causes seem to be motor related. Also try to upgrade your firmware/software to see if that'll do anything.

All relatively free to check. If that fails, try your hand over on the HobbyWing thread. It's mostly on-roaders there, but they do have HW reps there who actively read and respond.

I think you may be overtaxing your esc and or battery.

I dont have data in front of me to quote so maybe someone else can chime in here.

I believe the Tekin 4600 Pro4 will burst draw 720 or more amps
This is right at the top of your ESC ability

Also your battery is only 35C
Will it actually burst 720amps?

I suggest trying a higher C battery, turning your punch down or maybe a 4000kv 4 pole may solve your issue.

Uh, no. It probably bursts to about 150 amps or so.
