That info was not in the post you responded to.
Now it makes sense.

I have been trying to kill an 1410 for a while now!!I do want that Pro-4 4600 but this damn motor must fail, fail fail.....In my Semi-Uber light truck the LIL Castle work horse Just keeps asking for more!!!I run 14 on the pinion and the motor never temps above 135, indoor or out!!!I have not seen any Tenshock motors in person but I do hear good things about them!!The 1410 I have is very close to a year old with no maintenance just ABUSE!!!! I love it!!!!

I may have ran it past lvc when i first got it but my rx8 was set just for 2s not any special cut off. My packs expanded so much it opened the case. It still balances and charges great, i showed a guy at the track and he almost crapped himself and was like throw it outside as if it was a bomb about to go off, lol i gave one of them to a cat who was strapped for cash and uses it in a slash lol

the 1410 is a beast of a motor. I own all three motors you mentioned. If you want Pure speed/ sh!t loads uf torque, Tenshock hands down. Honestly those tenshocks are beasts on huge outdoor tracks.
I'm Currently running the RX8/Pro4 4600 combo. My other setup is the Hobbywing SC8/Tenshock sc401 4000kv. Honestly I like'd the feel (and price) of the hobbywing/tenshock setup.

Thanks Casper, I really appreciate the information. What number and position do most people run? What seems to be the most popular place to start, 0 front and rear?

If you like sensored, Tenshock SC411 is fantastic! Personally I like the smoothness of the sensored. My Castle 1415 on 2S (I've been told that isn't ideal, 3S would have been better), was more grunty but less refined.

I was running my 4000kv with 16T against someone else on a SCTE with Tenshock SC401 (ie unsensored) 4600kv with 13T and his was a beast - visibly more grunt. Personally I'm not a good enough driver to utilise the extra anyway, so 4000kv is good enough for me, but I am driving heaps better than I was with the Castle 1415. Price wise at USD$90 it is also fantastic.

What kind of male bullet connectors are you using? I notice the Nano-Techs do NOT respond well to the "birdcage" male 4.0mm bullets. Pick up a set of Castle/Duratrax/Tekin bullet plugs and I bet your batteries will be much better!

I recently changed to the castle bullets and put them on my copperhead esc but they are almost too tight to go in the nano's
