ah panther always having a sale with some sort of coupon code on a site that always says they can't do USPS to my address (ridiculous). more work than it's worth IMO.

Make sure you read the fine print;
Panther Rattler $19.50 + $5.00 for the inserts = 24.50 - 35%= 16.00
The Barcodes are $1.00 less per set and are a far more proven tire.

more than a couple people have gotten this message for USPS delivery:

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

yes, i have my zip code entered correctly. i suppose i could contact them as per the message, but honestly, the deal isn't good enough to go through all that. only reason i would choose USPS is that i would assume it's cheaper than the $12+ they want for UPS for two sets of SC and one set of 1/10 4wd buggy fronts, which is too bad because i wouldn't mind trying them out.

yeah if you get the orange foams which aren't necessary, even with the yellow closed foams they are awesome tires. Also I would like to know how the barcodes are a far more proven tire?

More proven in the sense that most of the fast guys who run 4x4 sct at WCRC/OCRC and also many in this thread would run JC/Codes over Panther.
Especially if the price is cheaper to run codes...
No offense to the brand intended, this is just my experience/2cents.

Not where I live, here HB Beams are what the "fast guys" run! But I love Panther SS compound! Anything in SS will win here!

Yeah we all know at the end of the day, tires don't win races, drivers do.
It all boils down to personal preference I guess.

Jared, good looking out with the barcodes. FYI, Others here have complained about the AKA cyclone wheels not fitting our truck correctly.

What up Kuya, havent seen you at the track when Ive been there lately (but I watch liverc!), hopefully we can get a race in soon. I'm curious to know if you are talking about the cyclone thats specifically made for the scte? I know the offsets/fit are not right for the cyclone sc10 for example.
Heres the ones I'm talking about;

Ohh and back to the tire thing real quick, I actually prefer the AKA SS wishbones at WCRC but they wear a bit too fast for my taste.

Tires won't make a bad driver win, but tires can make a good driver loose.. at least from all I've seen
