so the ne HA steering tube(TLR4004) showed up today so i threw it in when i got home. And im glad I did, when i took out the old one besides being grimy as hell I noticed how grooved out it was. I put a little loctite on the saver collar because they like to back down and yer servo saver gets too loose.

For those of you running the bump chassis how do you position the battery in the tray? Front, middle, or rear.

Does the steering rack still have that slop up and down?

I liked it, seems to settle down the truck faster off of bumps, no rebound.

I'm starting in the middle, if I end up needing more steering, I will move it up, if I need less I'll move it back, any other perment changes will depend on when I get it to some scales

Without going to look at it. I run the battery in the tray, in the box stock position. Jumps and handles great. The chassis does move the box back half an inch.

Default A Couple of Questions...

A couple of questions for you experts...

For any of you running the Hitec 7955TG, did you use the rubber grommets on the mounting tabs? The reason I ask is the make the steering angle a bit more steep than without them.

Also, maybe a dumb question - what are the transparent green tinted plastic pieces that come in their own bag? Two are sort of triangular and they have mounting holes in them and the other two are sort of rectangular and also have mounting holes...

Thanks!
