Questions?? MIP Pistons?

Has anyone tested or heard any feedback on the performance of these shock pistons from MIP?

THANKS, I LIKE HOW FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION THIS LAYOUT WAS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF WIRE $$$$$ I WOULD HAVE NEEDED AND THE SHORTEST ROUTE FROM THE ESC TO THE MOTOR.

also, i have always gotten more than the 6000mah stated capacity on the nano's. promatch doesn't exactly have a sparkling reputation for their battery's stated capacity. yes, they've taken care of most of the conscientious customers who noticed this error, but how many others didn't get the battery they ordered and got nothing for promatch's error?

Ummmmm I read it, and everyone that complained had there issue resolved? Things happen in quality control in this hobby, especially when the majority of stuff is being shipped from overseas rather than being made here (QC first run of SCTE's numbering in the thousands I'm sure). I wonder if those conscientious customers got free diff pins, gears, shocktowers, driveshafts etc from Losi cause there QC was lacking? I'm not trying to argue but I find it very ironic that people are complaing about a couple hundred mah on a thread about a truck that was the perfect example of poor quality control Personally if the mah count is somewhere in the ballpark and the price is right, I don't care what it charges to as long as it get's me around the track for enough laps to finish the race, but perhaps backyard bashers are more conscious...

got my scte last night, looks ok out of the box, little too much slop in the steering for my liking and the spectrum remote feels a little cheezy. we will see how her track manners are, I'm not new to r/c but in still a rookie on the track. island raceway here i come!!!!

In my head it would be more like a lipo with a bad solder is equal to a truck with inner parts having issues..

A pack with the wrong mAH would be like opening up the SCTE box and finding a XXX-SCT instead.. and losi saying deal with it. It's a short course truck right!

LOL

What about Xcelorin batteries like the 2s 6000/60c hard case.
Any good luck or bad luck with these batteries? Anybody?

I had 6 mis-labled Promatch batteries. Jeff immediately offered me a price reduction or replacement. All six were replaced and I would buy from him again tomorrow. Chit happens

I recall reading quite a bit more, including some issues w/ customer service. I don't recall details but I do recall it was enough to persuade me to be aware.

That may be a bit of a extreme comparison, I'm thinking more of like the battery has less mah than advertised which still works just fine vs the diffs are made of butter and you'll be able to get your car back on the track in a few weeks when replacement parts are available . I guess I can't compare them to the promatch cuz I've never run em, who wants to trade a new one for a new one so I can see if there that great???
