Oh yeah I'm running an 8th scale t8 right now..
I'm running 1900kv on 4s, would a 2650kv on 3s be a better setup if i stay with 8th scale electronics thanks.
Gear the pro4 at 13t to start out.

I have a custom project I'm attempting. I've searched TLRs web and AMain and can't find what I'm lookin for. Could one of you measure and post the dimensions of the battery tray? Also, is it secured to chassis with ( what would be SAE comparable ) 3 or 4 mm screws? TIA

Yes gear at 13t for the 4600 pro4. And turn your limiter to 80 or 90 and turn the timing off. Im running that and im hitting 145-148 in temps.

Has anyone tried setting an SCTE up like a lot of the 1/8 scale buggies are going to with the motor in the left front and dual batteries in the rear? I wish the four screws that hold the center diff in were symmetrical so you could just flip it around 180 deg. I set one of my ofna buggies up like this and it made a big difference in handling.

Got my spring sets in today. They are better. No rubbing, and although the black fronts most folks are using are nearly the exact same weight as the stock scte springs, they do feel much better. Maybe my stockers were just worn, or maybe these are a better type of spring steel, I don't know, but they definitely compress differently.

A pricey upgrade at $30 for a set of fronts and rears when almost everyone only uses black and orange, but a good leap from the silver rears stock fronts I think. one could probably just get away with the rear set.

p.s. bce is the best, the rest are just ok.
