You have to sand the center hole larger on the 2.0 spur.I used 120 grit and a dbl A battery , takes 5 min. Then i added 2mm washers under the center diff . Basically threw 2 washers on the four screws that screw into the motor mount and front holder thingy. Or you could dremel the chassis pocket where the spur is. Good option fOr those with 15 to 20 pinions and dont wanna buy lower teeth pinions lol

Not sure what track your running on? If it is at hobbtytown in Omaha where I race when I ran the 4600 it was never that hot. I was geared stock spur with a 14t pinion, I would check for binding in the drivetrain, bad bearings etc. If your running the RX8 turn your punch control down some and go from there. I'll be racing Tuesday night there if your around look me up, I'm the guy running the fluorescent green scte.

1st place at the races today! I broke another body post and didn't even wreck real bad. I also broke another Pro line renegade wheel tonight. I will not buy another set. My local indoor track is going to plow their dirt up and re mix it with some other dirt because it's way to hard. It packs down like concrete.

I had the same setup, same motor, same pinion and a RX8. I also had the same temps your getting, so I dropped down to a 12t and it fixed the heat issue. Also run 80% power limit, minimum boost and no drag break. Motor runs about 150 now and I still have plenty top end.

As everyone can see from my sig, I've made a switch. Ran the SCTE today for the first time, what a difference! I know that Symmetricon (sp) recently switched over as well, and after today, I don't think I'm looking back. Because it's a RTR (Ready To Rebuild), I changed out the shock oil and diffs. Instead of an hour long diff job, 20 minutes and I was put back together.

You need to paint that buggy body black or something. That last pic looks kinda creepy...

-10000 for Jconcepts
all 4 of my Rulux wheels cracked. Threw off my wheel alignment (
Noticed it after my truck started drifting to the left during qualifying.
Anyone know if jconcepts replaces their faulty wheels? Guess I'm sticking to the stock wheels for now.

True, but they are small and nothing some mesh can't cover. Even with the holes open it covers a lot and does a great job keeping the mud out. Again better than nothing. The only downside is that it blocks airflow, but this tenshock motor doesn't go over 107 so I don't worry about heat issue.

Hey Scoot are you at the JBRL at O.C.?
How is the turn out? New job is going well when I get the promised increase $$$$$ I will be able to play more and come race wit ya guys!!Also what tires do you run at ocrc? Thanx Bro ..Ric,
Nope, went to 111 Raceway today to run with a bunch of friends that I hadn't run with in months. They're more of bashers than racers but we had a great time at open practice at 111. But I heard 385 entries today for the JBRL! Yeah man, be glad to have you down at the OC soon! Near the end of the night my truck started nose diving like crazy over this big jump they have right now, couldn't figure out why, pulled my truck off and the two front screws that hold in the front diff and bumper backed out, so everytime I hit the jump, it was scoopin up dirt But for a little track, it's really fun.

definitely not normal. Which ESC are you running? Make sure you don't have any timing in it. I'm running a 13 tooth on my 4600 also and I come off the track at about 140-145ish all day. Do as others have said about checking for binding, bearings etc.

Congratulations man, I'm sure you'll like it a lot and there's a lot of really good mods for it out there too. Not that it needs a ton, but it's fun to tinker right?

Have you tried DE Racing wheels ? They seem to hold up pretty good .

Are many of you running M2C or RC shox pistons in your trucks? If so how do you like them?
