Ill have to check the saver. The servo seems to be centered and the wheels turn freely left and right. Just doesnt turn as tight to the left on the track. Ill check the saver and see what I find

Also, check to be sure that the ackerman screw is not a little loose and thus interferring with turning both ways...something we should all check every full day or so anywho...

What servo are you using? If everything else checks out, try a different servo with more torque.

Default 10 minute main battery suggestions.

Ok guys, I run a medium size outdoor track that is usually on the loose side. I've been running the Tekin RX8 with the T8 2050 buggy motor on 4S for a few months now and ready for a change. I'm going with the Tekin Pro4 4600KV motor with my RX8 but I'm concerned about battery selection. We always run 10 minute mains so with a 4S thats not a problem but dropping down to
2S I'm worried I won't make the full race. So what are you ten minute main guys running with this motor/esc combo?

I run the same setup with a trinty 65c 6500mah pack and that definately makes the race.

There are also the new 6600mah 65C Turnigy Nanotechs! I bet those would make it too! I can get 10 or 12 minutes practice with my 6000mah 65C Turnigys...

I don't know whether I have asked this before but having the chasis bottom out after jumps, is this considered the norm?

Reason I ask is most of the tracks around here are designed for 1/8 buggies. My Emaxx brushless bottoms out constantly and that worries me, I haven't run my Losi SCTE over anything yet, just up and down the road, but when I do eventually take it out the idea of having it slap the ground after landing freaks me out a bit, especially with expensive electronics in it.

I dropped the car from about a foot and it bottomed out, not greatly but enough for me to think that coming off the jump from anything around 5ft is going to be a serious knock to the chasis. Is there usually something to be done about this? Stiffer springs, heavier shock oil?

I run the mmp with 4600 and a 13t pinion on a med outdoor 8th scale track and I have made a 10min main with my gensace 5000mah packs. This was with no warm up laps and nothing left after 10min. With that being said 6000mah should be plenty. I now run the nanotech 6600's and have run a 10min main, then 6 extra laps and the battery had 24% left at that point.

You are right, the suspension needs heavier oil and/or smaller hole pistons from the piston pack (LOSB2909) to absorb the landings.

I use lighter oil and a bigger piston myself, but my track is a smaller 10th scale track.

Whats the relationship between spring, shock oil and shock bore size? If i increase oil weight it is obviously harder for the shock to compress, if i go a heavier oil, should i not go a heavier spring to ensure faster rebound?
