Losi 1/10 TEN-SCTE ARR 4x4 Short Course Truck Thread

what would a scte roller ready for electronics be worth on here?

The simple rule I follow is...
ESC hot - use a smaller pinion
Motor hot - use a bigger pinion
Both temp good - Sweet!

The simple solution for the breaking bumper problem, a simple piece of hard foam, stays on by itself!!

Any ideas on where to put a Mylaps transponder on the SCTE for good reception? I switch the transponder between two cars, so I use velcro to hold it on. Right now I have it just in front of the servo above the steering assembly, but the system missed a lap last night (moved me from 1st to 3rd), so maybe it's too high up?
There's space on the chassis, but I'm not sure if that will cause interference with the transponder.
Ideas?

Hey guys,
I just got another batch of SCTE hardened steel diff bushings in today. I'm working hard to keep up with demand.
Thanks for your patience,
Chris

I could use some help choosing tires. My track conditions change so much I can't seem to find good tires. When they blow the loom off there are no issues. Sometimes they leave the loom dry if it's a slow race day. Other times they wet the loom.
What tires should I choose for the dry loom? What tires should I use for the wet loom that clog up the tread?

Don't stick it any where on the chasis! I made that mistake! I have mine right on top the reciever box!!! It work perfect there! They say no metal and try to be 15mm off the deck your racing on!

It can mount right in the middle of the frnt shock towers. The holes line up almst perfect for the mylaps mounting bracket.

I have had zero issues. I don't think a little plastic is going to interfere any more that a plastic chassis or anything else would. Mine is just in there and forgotten about.

+1 , saw this today, it lines up. Even the older style lines up. Its not perfect, its slightly off, just angle the screw a tad and straighten it out while you screw it in.

I have my transponder inside my receiver box, no problems.
