I hope you dicks are happy because I just bought a tekin pro4 4600. I still think it's too much motor for 90% of us including me, but for the $95 I paid (used) I will check it out first hand. Maybe. Or maybe I will sell it and keep my 5.5 550 trinity monster. We shall see.

Where are you guys having the leaks from the outdrives or gasket?

I will test diff leaks (almost like wikileaks ) with colored water. I have leaking problem as well. I havent put black grease to outdrives but I have greased them with littlebit different grease.

Diff case and outdrives are quite loose after many runs. I bet that diffs are leaking from outdrives. By the way. Why there is groove on outdrives? Is it for smaller O ring or just for nothing?

The small groove is the grease groove. You want to be sure to put black grease in it and around it.

What ESC? Almost everyone i know that runs 4wd mod runs this motor. Pretty much all of them also run Rx8s. They detuned the crap out of the motor, running 13pinion and the Current Limter to 75 or so.

I run an SCT-pro hobbywing esc. If comes to that much detuning, it's the wrong motor, in my opinion.

I guess it really depends on track...we have 2 completely different size tracks that people run on. Not to mention, our Pro4 mod class is INSANELY fast drivers. A few, just a FEW guys run boost (10-15) on the ESC.

I really like the idea of having a bigger motor and tune down, so when i need it, its there....

the tekin pro4 is a bullet. I'm geared at 13, and its insanely fast, but i have the skill to control it
temps are low also.

I've been waiting to see one and I did some hunting around on Boobtube today and came across that one thought it was pretty funny lol. Curb's and R/C car's going fast dont mix.

What type of Foams are people running in their tire's with the AKA ( Grid-Iron's) ??

I was looking closed cell foam's and also I think made by Proline a Double Foam, which the inside foam is hard then the Outside is softer for jumps and bumps. I don't know what type of foam's I've ran before as I just run whatever comes with my Tire's.

Does Proline give Closed cell foams with their tire's ? or what type of foam usally comes with them?
