Just to note I ran a full set of stock sc10 tires and managed the track pretty well but it was a little pushey in the turns, I ran a couple laps between heats with a set of aka SS gridirons and they were really bad on this track.

Thx
I run Soft AKA Cityblocks on a real tight indoor high bite track. It's a mix of river sand clay and dirt. It sets up light concrete but doesn't wear your tires bad.

those wheels are good but they are ugly to me. i buy the renegades from proline. just trim the inside ribs and they work great and look good also.

Yea I just use the Losi Rims because there's no way in hell I'm paying more for my rims than my tires. I'm a racer and rims don't last long. If they lasted forever maybe but no rims do, unless your going for bling. IMO those renegades are WAY over priced at $24.99 a pair. That's just me though.

In reguards to what tire to run on a tight indoor clay track:

The track I run on is 70 X 120 clay track. In the fall and spring it gets a liitle moist but in the dead of winter its hard as a rock. the tires hat we run are Panther Rattlers, Pro-line Suburbs 2.0. If those tires are giving too much traction then we run the Panther Switches. You can't go wrong with these tires. I run them on 2wd & 4wd.
