As far as the 1/8 scale buggy goes. I beat it racing tuesday with only my rear drive working. So I guess this truck is a good 2wd too. Sheared the front cvd pins and still won.

Good lord! Mine are not nearly as bad, but my rear diff pins are just starting to burnish through the surface finish of the pins, and the center diff pins are definitely starting to get a groove started.

These pins are obviously substandard and if Losi believes they are giving us hardened pins, they are not what they think they are....

did you run the truck with greece still in the diffs at all or switch to fluid right of the bat? I can see wear like that after prolonged running with greece, but with diff fluid that is just unheard of

I changed it out of the box. Im going to check a buddys truck that still has grease, maybe grease is better.

I have 2 race days on my truck with the grease. I put oil in the diffs last night and there was no wear on the pins yet.

I ran mine out of the box with the grease and it still shows wear, and I was not running the truck hard either. Just changed over to oil for the race this weekend and thats when I noticed the wear...
