Chris, what does your toe out look like in the front? I dont have a gauge to set the front but mine are just barely out when looking at it. When the balls get sloppy and the toe out goes out farther the truck gets really squirrly. Then I just close them back in till it feels right.

I'm running 0-1 degrees. Not much at all.
I think it just comes down to driving style. I tend to do better with a truck that is neutral or slightly under steers. I also do better with a truck that is slightly underpowered. I tend to over control the truck when the adrenaline gets flowing.
I've been working on my SC-R setup for 6 months and finally found the right setup and tire combo. I dropped almost a full second off my fast lap on the same track. Now that I have the handling down I'm going to motor up a little and see if I can keep it under control.
I looked at the SC10 4x4 saddle pack thread and those guys are running a 45/55 weight distribution on their trucks. Some of those guys are running alot of ballast weight to get their trucks up to 6.5 lbs or so. The SC10 4x4 is the truck to beat on our track at the moment.
I made a new battery/ESC tray last night. I put the ESC in front of the battery. The tray has three sets of mounting holes so I can get anywhere from .5" to 1.5" farther back than the stock tray. I'll post some pictures when I get it completed. It should give me a 47/53 weight distribution. I may just keep adding weight to my truck too. I'm close to 6 lbs right now. That's 8-12oz lighter than the guys with the stock trucks and they seem to be doing fine on my track.
I plan to go practice tomorrow. I'll report my findings when I get done.

How so? Below is a quote from the manual. Granted the link does not work. But I can say based on experience I sent one in with no receipt & got a brand new one back without question?
"Please see www.rc10.com/rc/replacexp for details regarding Team Associated’s XP Lifetime Product Replacement Policy."

Hate to bring up old issues...but here goes.
I took some of you guys advice and sent my Team Orion 90c 6500mah lipo that was bad after 5 charges. Paid shipping, wrote nice courteous note.
Response I got back was pretty funny....lipo's are only covered when there is a manuf defect...so are they are saying I ruined the lipo? hmmmm
Next they offered a one time exception....20% off new lipo. So I get a new one for $109 instead of $137. They also cannot return my battery due to shipping hazard. (Cost me $7 insured to ship)
I guess I'll buy another one for $109 and hope it lasts more than 5 charges..heck then I can send it in and maybe twist their arm for another GREAT 20% deal. Let's all buy more Orion lipo's....lmao
Pretty fed up with the piss poor CS we get in this hobby. Not all the time I know, but damn. When you send in a brand new lipo and get this kind of run around. Kinda gets under my skin...especially when some of you have gotten new ones mailed back. It must be a yes/no type of warranty deal.
I will look very close at WHO I'm buying from, from now on. When we spend thousands of dollars on this stuff, you'd expect a little bit more. Guess not.

Let's think a bit...Nano's are what $30, Team Orion was $137. Is there gold in the Orion? Man, I was dumb. Lesson learned I guess.

Dont sweat it. I comsidered them too bit tried the nanos and never looked back.....ive seen nuthin but failures comming from orion products at the track and wont purchase a thing from them.....

Got told dont get nano's by a lhs but told to get them by some racers good thing i listened to the racers have nothing but nanos they work beautiful. Only downfall some will say not roar approved
