Is there any " how to " links about maintenance and mods on this truck in a RTR version ? Any secrets to keeping the shock sock from slipping off ?

I fixed the broken rear drive shaft and back and running. Things a blast to drive

Anyone else been using these Lipos in thier SCTE? Any Problems with them or am I the only one?

Two minutes into the first heat of the Day. Battery is only 6-8 cycles old. Thank God the closest Marshall knew what he was doing and saved my Car.

You bought more knowing that people are having issues with them????

I bought 2 to try them out. Luckily no damage from the one that went poof.

Ran the other with no problems for the rest of the day.

Once they wear to a point they dont seem to contaminate anymore. I mean u can use new shims everytime u refill w oil but the u will have the same problem everytime u take them back apart. I dont see a way around this issue really

I was just hoping there was an alternative out there.

Replace the shims every time is the only alternative ive managed to find. The Shims Will wear away to NOTHING if you leave them long enough.
