How are you guys attaching your ESC's in your trucks? I have 3 options Standard Servo Tape, Velcro or I also have some of that Kyosho Servo tape that's really thick and squishy.

Just looking for some opinions.

Also, I asked a few pages back and didn't get a response, but what length sensor wires are you guys running? I'm planning on having my solder posts facing the rear of the truck and my Tenshock SC411 motor doesn't come with a sensor wire so I need to pick one up.

Well today i ordered my bce chassis! When i switch out the chassis i also want to switch out the grease to oil in my diffs. Running indoor for the winter on carpet, what would be my best bet for diff oils? Also what is working the best as to gluing the diff hex inserts to prevent leaking??

I use 3m double sided tape but for your options that you gave, I would use the Kyosho tape. I wouldn't use Velcro but that's just me. As far as the sensor wire I use the write that came with my Pro4. I can measure is I guess if you want me to.

ok.. so.. anyone out there.. have any opinion on the losi 22 shock pistons?? guy at the shop is saying he thinks they are better than the ones for the truck.. i only noticed that they are skinnier..

what do you guys reccommend?

I am also trying to get some more low speed steering in the truck.. its super dialed in the high speed sweepers.. but just cant get around the slow sections very well..

i am running the 3/3/2 diff setup.. as well as gold springs in the front.. stock in the rear.. stock sway bars.. and i think the truhe setup..

Got the TLR tuning kit as well..

thanks guys.

I would recommend the upgrade spring kits. The springs help a lot. For more turn in try moving the bottom of the front shocks in a hole on the arm.

If your track doesn't have a lot of high speed corners, ditch the front swaybar. I dropped mine off for a track that had a ton of 180 turns and it made a world of difference.

It would be nice if my iPhone didn't load all the setup sheets blank.

Default Tire Compound Question

I bought some Jconcepts Rebars for my build. I thought that I was getting the medium compound rebars, but I accidentally ordered the super softs. The track that I will be running at is maintained as a smooth blue groove surface. Will these super soft rebars be good for that type of surface, or should I get some harder tires?

Better to have too much traction instead of not enough. They'll probably be worn down by the end of the race but that's racing.
