Yeah, he hits low 12 second laps. The layout is great for running full bore. Most of us are running 4.5 550 motors or the 4600 Pro 4 motors turned up 100%. Crazy for indoor racing on a track that size, but super fun.

What kind of ESC do you have? It should have a low voltage cutoff. Set it for two cells and you should be good. I get 20 minutes out of my set up and put ~5600 back into a 6000mah pack.

I'll thumb through the entire thread as I get time, but 1700+ pages will take me awhile to work through ;-) I'll be tossing a Castle 4 pole motor and MMP in it. What kind of gearing is popular for medium and large sized track with decent sized jumps?
Must have: rear shock tower(carbon fiber)
Gearing: 13-15, I'm using 14t most of the time if you're talking about the 3800kv

I agree what he said^^^^^^^^^ but don't buy any thing tell you need it. you will be surprised on how well the newer generation truck is. if any thing cf towers. later get the lightened out drives and then replace the shafts with new ones if you want them to last for ever use pro long grease put on wipe off... last tell your old and retired.. maybe a new chassis CF or BCE Happy New Year

Also what is that a RevTech 4 pole motor your running? Because it looks to be a Revtech if so how is it temp and power wise was thinking of buying one. And wtf type of heat sink is that thing I've never seen one that's as large as that one and Im trying to find something along those lines to order
i went with the 10g wires cause my 12g wires were getting pretty warm, i wanted the deans wires but lhs didnt have them in stock. that motor it the tekin 4600. that heat sink is sold by novak for their 550 cans. i had to cut it on my band saw to shorten it and also notch out where the drive line is to make it fit.

Double check your shims, there has to be something wrong for it to be locked.

Make sure the notches in your pins are facing each other. The spider gears should drop below the top of the diff cup.
