Losi 1/10 TEN-SCTE ARR 4x4 Short Course Truck Thread
I finally got around to painting my body. Sad thing is, I got the truck when it was first released. I've been using an old Slash body until now. It's not the best work I've done, but at this point at least it's done.

the esc would be the best route to go it will save you time but you can always do both heat sink and new esc which should cool it even more allowing for bigger gears

hey guys, quick question...
soon to be SCTE owner and wondering on wheels/tire selection..
if i use Jconcepts premounts (Double dees, 12mm hex) for the SCTE, are you still ROAR legal in terms of offset and width?

I think the only way he would have a problem is if I out qualify him with it. Yes, that is possible, if he tells me to take it off I'll just hack him in the main. I'm not sure it will stay anyways, I was just playing around.
How are the RTR electronics doing?
A friend wants to buy an SCTE. I am looking for input from people that have bought a RTR. If the RTR ESC, motor and servo are holding up and working well with 2s batteries, I will tell him to go that way.
So, who's bought the RTR and how happy are you with the stock electronics?
Thanks in advance.

Diff oils
My SCTE is pretty much setup with the Casey Peck setup, including 3/3/2 in the diffs. I run on a large 1/8 scale outdoor track. The truck works pretty well, but I'm looking to make it just a bit easier to drive. It seems to be a bit loose right now and once it goes it is hard to recover. I'm running the RX8/Pro4 4600 with a 14t pinion.
Theoretically speaking, what would each of the following diff setups do, compared to the 3/3/2 I'm running now?
Thanks

Thicker center will decrese steering all around but increase forward acceleration and decrease front tire wear.
Thicker rear will help lock in the rear end a little more on power
