Default backspacing/offset has anyone actually measured it?

I'm looking for the SC wheels w/ the most offset (nitrohouse backspacing). I don't care what you call it I just need an accurate measurement. If someone could please confirm the 34mm nitrohouse lists I would very much appreciate it. I just bought a set of protrac wheels that are listed at 35mm but when they showed up they are actually 32.5mm. If anyone knows of a wheel w/ even more backspacing/offset I would love to hear about it.

The scte uses "0" offset wheels. Pretty much no offset. Ive never actually measured it exactly. Yhe new jc hazzard have a little more offset to put it out to maxx legal width. Unless u dont care about legal then try slash 4x4 offset wheels. It will be plenty wide then

I really need the exact measurement. I see nitrohouse lists it as 34mm backspacing but I found out the hard way their measurements are not exactly accurate. So I was hoping someone could/did measure it.

Talking New SCTE owner

Hey guys, been lurkin around a while and tryin to find my answers in this 1600+ page thread and am gettin sick/dizzy after reading a few dozen pages.

I so far have swapped the grease in the rear/center diff out for oil and need to do the front,i have it at 5k/5k/3k F/C/R and have added a carbon fiber tube down the center for rigidity,i have the tuning kit on its way.

Other than that and maybe a bce or snr graphite chassis what should i do to prep for a smaller indoor clay track?

I recently went to PRCR and just ran it stock besides the center/rear diff oil and i think i was over powered/geared with a pro4 4000kv/13t pinion.

i got spanked by another scte and durango,i also was running stock wheels/tires so i know i could have used some bar codes or wishbones or something.

was hoping to get some help with a quick set up tip/trick?

any help is greatly appreciated,thanks.

I run on indoor carpet. I have the BCE chassis, swapped out the stock diff pins for Chris pins, swapped stock tires for DE wheels with M3 Suburbs,5/5/3 in the diffs, and moved the battery to the back. I'm using Dakotah's set up from the ROAR Nationals and I think thats about it. The BCE chassis is amazing. I'm gonna switch to the M2 compound suburbs because the M3's wear out after 2 weeks. My SCTE hanldles like a dream. It makes me look like a better driver then I am.

I put 3/4 inch limiters in my shocks to try and lower my ride height for carpet. But the rango is winning at the local track, any suggestions on springs for me i ordered them but they are on B/O I almost just wanna cut a loop or 2 off the stockers. Im using sc10 tires for carpet and still 3 wheeling and traction rolling, i have the schumacher sc tires but i want to eliminate my problems before i mount them up.
Thanks

I cannot get an exact measurement, since the mounted tyres make it hard, but the Losi stock wheels are closer to 35mm then 34.

Okay so I have a set of the 1/8th scale big bores and I just bought a new set of stock shocks for the scte. I want to upgrade my shock towers, but if I do I want to get the right ones. Should I run the stock shocks or buy the taller carbon towers from snr and go with my big bores? My truck is not lightened at all seemed when I tried my stock shocks out before selling them they bottomed out too easy. Also I liked the feel of the big bores better. Anyone have any input on big bore vs stock shock I would really appreciate the help!! Im just an average club racer and need any help I can get in landing jumps, and getting consistent lap times.

Anyone know the dimensions of the Vektor 4000 1410 motor? It comes in the new savage xs truck. I know the Flux line that HPI puts in their vehicles are made by castle, but is this the same motor as the 3800 but 4000kv?
