wait, does this mean the roller doesn't come with a 23t horn? Then again, the lastest Spektrum servos are Savox and are 25t so i guess i shouldn't be concerned.

the roller comes with a plastic horn with plastic adapters. many of us have upgraded to the aluminum TL servo horn

thanks for clearing that up. i've been putting the finishing touches on my order and am trying to get all the details right in one shot.

as it turns out the lastest spektrum servos have 25t (sourced from savox) so i don't need to worry.

Its a SWEET setup! Other than the chassis, there is a center diff top plate/rear brace thingy, and a transponder mount. Weighed it on my cheapo scale and it came it at 246g...

I am normal...just lucky

What material are the parts made from?
G-10 or carbon?

Default shock eyelets too tight

When servicing or setting my shocks the lower eyelet is stuck to the arm so strongly, that I have to force it with a screwdriver to remove from the hole where it was mounted. The screw holding it moves freely. What can be the root of this problem and how could I solve it? My buddies also have the same trouble.
I tried searching the thread for clues, but came up empty handed.

Hold the tire and push the arm down (away) from the shock after you remove the screw. Obviously with the top of the shock still attached to the shock tower....

When you tighten the screw onto the ball, I think the arm is compressed and indents itself around the ball, which makes it difficult sometimes to release the shock bottom.

Thanks for the tip Angelo! Trying... sadly it won't budge
You are certainly right that there is heavy compression on the arm, I can see it slightly bent where the head of the screw sits.

has it been a while since you serviced the shocks? i found that the first time i serviced it was when it proved to be most difficult to remove. after that, a quick punch of the tire away from the shock frees it up with no issues for me.

I had done it 3 or 4 times, but the last one was almost two months ago, I only had the chance to run it once since that, so it is sitting on the stand since that. Maybe if I remove the screws and let is rest that way for a few days, it will ease up.

This particular chassis is G-10. But Bruce makes tons of carbon goodies, so once testing is complete, I would expect a carbon version

I did with good results in my sc10 4x4. This is also with 80% current limiting. The battery did not heat up or fade and the run time was about 15 mins on the track.

I won't be able to test it in the scte until next weekend.

Hey everyone!! I just got my brand new Ten SCTE running. What a kick and half. I am so glad I bought this truck. My friend has a Slash and every time he turns sharp it flips. Mine runs like it's on rails. What fun!!! What a great truck.
