Default diff fluid?

Is the losi 5k, 7k, 3k diff fluid the same weight of other manufactures such as traxxas which makes 50k, 30k, 70k are these two manufactures diff fluids equal and just labeled differently. Or would 5k be 5k across the board no matter the manufacture and 50k be 50k
BTW im my set up is rx8/pro4 4000kv/turnigy 65c/16t pinion any suggestions and advice would be helpful my track is indoor clay

5k is 5k and 50 k is 50k across the board, the traxxas is a more free design with out an actual center diff so it uses thicker fluid to get the diffs to diff out or load up! I use the ofna fluids!5-5-3 or 5-3-3 Cheers!

Default Maxamps anyone?

I'm really surprised that I haven't seen anyone bring up maxamps as a power source? Am I missing something here? I've been running mine for 1 yr and haven't had any issue with them.

Not much love for maxamps round these parts I'm afraid. Overpriced, falsified ratings, etc etc... Many threads on it.

Well, I know the TLR team is always working on stuff but unfortunately, not much else to say in regards to a new 10th scale 4wd.

In the front, we are all running 0's front and rear which is stock.

These got stuck on a boat instead of coming by air, so it will be end of November on those.

Nope, they are the same. So if you have both sets, then you have plenty of extras plus we sell just the inserts as well if you ever wear through all of those.

My truck needs a new set of balls, hard balls. I can't believe how well it still drives with worn out ones though!

I hear ya there, lol. I would suggest running it all worn out for a couple more weeks because the hard balls fit great and will last MUCH longer.

Thanks, that's what I'm planning on doing. The ones that are really worn down are in the steering linkages. She still drives stable though... I can't believe how tough this truck is. The only things I've replaced so far are the front/center driveshaft, a rear cvd bone and the rear bumper (man that 5 pack was rough at RC Excitement). She's probably got around 20 racedays on her.
